    Vielen Dank, liebe Vanessa, für die günstigen Alternativen und die tolle Erklärung.
    Das teure LED-Set hat mich bisher immer abgeschreckt, aber nun werde ich so ein Projekt sicher bald mal angehen. Beide Karten sind übrigens richtig toll ❤️

    Thank you for taking the time to make this video, Vanessa. I always found LED's intimidating, but you explained it beautifully and I'm going to give it a try! Ps. Your English is fabulous :)

    Hi Vanessa, I just found your fantastic video, it answered all my questions and your English is great! I understood every word. I knew there must be a cheaper way of making LED cards but didn't know where to start and now I do! I had looked on AliExpress for supplies but wasn't sure what to buy. Now, based on what I've learnt from you I'm going shopping! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, Crafters are a generous group. X

    Thanks for the amazing video. I had wondered about aluminum foil. I bought a 3-pack of the Chibi and it cost $10 USD. Way too much money. Based on your recommendations, I found some SMD LED lights on Amazon - a 100 pack of multi color for less than $10. And they work using your techniques. The LOADS OF FUN card is fabulous. I want to make that card, so I ordered the stamps. Your English is so good, I could understand everything you said. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. I'll be using the lights on birthday and Christmas cards this year. Probably the star over the Nativity scene. It will be special. Have a good day. Kay

    HI- How can you tell which side of the LED is positive and which side is negative? They are so small I cant see anything on there. Thanks

    • @VanessaAmann
      @VanessaAmann  7 лет назад +1

      Chris Lee hello (: my LEDs had a tiny little nodge on one edge. This side I think was minus (negative) but it doesn't matter as long as you keep the leds on the same string of copper/silver. But you can test it before glueing the leds by only pressing down to the silver/copper. If nothing happens just turn the batterie side.. hope it helps. Hope to find time to look after the leds to tell you better

    Fyi. The color LED Light 0603 are the incorrect size to use don't buy them. . They are way to small.. buy either 3528 type or 5050 size to make cards. . The warn lights that, she recommends are a good size to buy, she might be using type size :5050 or 3528. not sure. I made the mistake bought the wrong size :(
    I'm just trying to save you time and money. otherwise I love that she shared her ideas. 😍 I still hoping to make one once I get my refund.

      L Mendoza , bought the 0603 before seeing this. Can they still be used on cards with the same method shown?

    • @HFDay-qi6yc
      @HFDay-qi6yc 7 лет назад

      Sue M , correction, yes , you are right , if you are about about yellows lights on video they are a good size to use on cards. Im talking about COLOR LED lights , red , yellow, blue on the description box is incorrect . its should be 5050. just llike the yellow ones she is using on video. Im was trying to help out the mistake. that all. sorry for any confusing.

      Thanks so much for your information about which LED to get. I also had trouble with the super glue. I found dry "snail" adhesive works perfectly pressing hard like she says for about 30-40 seconds, then, if necessary, scotch tape snug over the LED. I'm giving these to children, so they will take a lot of punishment.

      Are they the same between Sourcingmap a14060500ux0551andSMD LED 5050 warm-weiß 3-Chip Highpower?

    • @VanessaAmann
      @VanessaAmann  7 лет назад

      Sorry, I don't know :D I was just searching for SMD LEDs. Often the differences are between the light itself. if its a colder (blue) or a warmer light (relish, orangish)

    How to glue the battery? Thanks.

    • @VanessaAmann
      @VanessaAmann  6 лет назад

      Hello Veronica, I usually don't glue the battery, but I build a frame around it using foam tape. In case u want to glue the battery, i would suggest dry glue, as dots, or gliders or regular tape. And you just put it were there isn't copper tape. I wouldn't risk to have bad connection between coper tape and battery. I hope I could help. In all my LED card videos you can see how I create my circuit and how I "glue" the battery.
