Yes, we are allowed to, only thing is that we have a very extensive security check similar to airport before we enter the embassy for interview which involves removing belts, shoes, jewellery etc. We are only not allowed to carry any sharp object including Knife, Kirpan and any electronic equipment including electronic watches.

I believe there are 2-3 Important Sections which I found very useful from I-129 overall -- I-129 Data Collection Form (3 Pages) -- I-129 Supplement Form (2 Pages) -- Company Based I-129 Form (In our case it was around 9 Pages, but it can vary from company to company. So you can handover these documents if the Interviewer ask for that.

If old passport was lost, there must have been an FIR filed for loss, please take that proof along and also any photocopy that you had for lost passport by any chance should be taken as well

Hello I am assuming your ex husband won’t be applying for H4 visa So mostly interview and queries will be related to you only. And if you don’t have any legal divorced paper, then I think you don’t need to declare that you are divorced. You can mention if asked that only you are going to USA for H1B visa and my family or spouse won’t be traveling as they have their own respective jobs

Hi Kalkidan, Yes, you will be applying H4 for your husband, this happens only after petition approval. You both can appear for the stamping together and can also travel to US together. You need not to be traveling first and then raising dependent visa.

Is the locations different because of your Employer Location and Client Location? You will be working from your Client Location, Right? If that's the case, you can mention I am working for XYZ Employer and they have office in this XYZ State, but they have a client for whom I am currently working and I will be working from client Location. Hi Razziv, You can only fill Bachelors in DS-160 also, if your employer is not aware then at the time of petition when education evaluation would have been done by third party, then also employer would have only communicated till Bachelor’s. For verification, you can check the petition files by the employer, it will also have that Education evaluation document attached. Visa officer will not have access to any other credentials except that document and DS-160 to verify so it should be fine. Please let me know if this clarifies your doubt.
Hi Kasireddy, The usual time that USCIS takes is around 2 months to provide decision on RFE, either they will move forward on your case or will request further evidence if earlier provided response is not sufficient.
Yes, your employer should provide these details for USCIS to verify the authenticity of your employer. Unless the response is provided, USCIS will not move forward with your case, they put it on Hold for the time being.

Hello Bharadwaj Slots actually doesn't; open everyday these days. It opens like once a month or twice, but when it opens, it gets open in Bulk and you can grab at that time. I would advise to join Telegram groups which actually has around 80-90K members and there people update if slots get opened. But you need to be stay away from brokers or scammers, who actually start asking money for slot booking too. If you follow that group properly you should be able to get a slot by yourself.

The I-797 document is not the same as the petition copy or the I-129 form. The I-797 is a notice of action issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to communicate various actions taken on an immigration case or application.
Hello Ashish Yes you can go for H1B in person stamping interview in Malaysia. You wouldn’t have to go to your country to get your H-1B visa stamping process completed provided you can locate the consular officers in the region you are.

My wife is applied for H1B this year, we didn't show that she completed Masters... We have shown only that she completed Bachelor's to our employer who sponsored our visa, Will the visa officer on the time of interview verify my wife educational background or not?
Should we fill only Bachelor's is the highest degree in DS -160, is it fine .. we haven't shown anywhere that she done master's... Is it fine or any problem will be there?
Hi Razziv, You can only fill Bachelors in DS-160 also, if your employer is not aware then at the time of petition when education evaluation would have been done by third party, then also employer would have only communicated till Bachelor’s.
For verification, you can check the petition files by the employer, it will also have that Education evaluation document attached.
Visa officer will not have access to any other credentials except that document and DS-160 to verify so it should be fine.

Yes, your employer should provide these details for USCIS to verify the authenticity of your employer. Unless the response is provided, USCIS will not move forward with your case, they put it on Hold for the time being.

Dependent are not allowed to work on H4 visa until and unless you get EAD card
So you don’t have to mention about any work for H4 visa applicant. You can just tell that dependent is going just to support H1B applicant in US

They have returned the Cover Letter (Interview Letter) along with the passport and 221g. I have also traveled to the countries like Singapore and Thailand in the last 5 years (Except the US), which I already mentioned in DS-160 and I did my masters from the UK but that visa was in the old passport, which they didn't take.

Slots actually doesn't; open everyday these days. It opens like once a month or twice, but when it opens, it gets open in Bulk and you can grab at that time.
I would advise to join Telegram groups which actually has around 80-90K members and there people update if slots get opened. But you need to be stay away from brokers or scammers, who actually start asking money for slot booking too. If you follow that group properly you should be able to get a slot by yourself.

Client letter is important as it proves the authenticity of petition but if client is not giving then what can be done, so just go with the LCA and SOW, we can only hope that VO does not asks for client letter.

Also, sometimes USCI ab account does not show updated information so better to check with Employer on the status, they get updates directly through USCIS
