This is the only video which discusses how to choose the correct spline diameter. Thanks!

He says measure spline groove width but the picture at 1:35 shows him measuring depth.

You have cornered a very strange digital market. Great video!

I measured the groove in my frame which was equal to .16 in., but the spline was too loose in the groove. I then went one size larger to .175 and it was still too small. I went to .19 and it fit properly.

Had the same problem. My grove is .125". That spline is too loose. Went to .140" spline and that was still not really tight. Going up again to .160".

Why no mention of square spline, like on my garage sliding screen doors. Looking at it end on it's U shaped.

Hmmm.. You use the same dimension spline as the channel width, unless you're using Phifer screen, which requires one size smaller spline. OK. As I'm not using Phifer screen, and I'm routing my own channel in wood, I'll keep the spline width the same as my channel and see how that goes.

How does this video tell you WHAT SIZE spline to get for your window screen??

Daniel Balfour at the 1:25 mark he says to measure the width of the groove

@@Ribs4Lunch I found it hilarious that they showed using a tape measure. Not many people can tell the difference between .125" and .140" with a tape measure.

If you want to make it too just use InpliX handbooks.

You know you can slow down or even pause the video, right? You can even watch it again if you are extremely slow.
