I am about to do one now and unlike in the past I did not use clamps. Brlliant! I also went around the cornors without cutting... No more! Now I fell more confident than before. Thank You.
Put a blanket down on the concrete you are scratching the door or use the kitchen table, use a kitchen fork to start spline removal, don't cut the spline tuck in the corner with the screwdriver, to put the screen back on the track slide it into the upper track, lift and drop rollers down on bottom rail......
Disclaimer: take your time with cutting off the excess screen! The first time I did this I accidentally gouged into the good portion of the screen and had to replace the whole thing again. It helps to hold the blade at a 45 degree angle as well.

If there is a dog or a little kid in my house, then we have a big problem... because I don't have either! Love the darwin comment Hap. Totally agree! Maybe a mattress outside of the door to catch the idiots who go crashing through the screen? lol

Be sure to clean (replace if necessary) rollers and clean and lub (silicone spray) roller track.
absolutely. In this case the rollers did not need to be replaced. Cleaned yes. Used chain lube in the wheel bearings and silicone everywhere else.

I am glad to have you!
Oddly therapeutic.
hmmm... maybe I should make one of those "satisfying" videos that get a million views
You forgot to show measuring the new screen and how much extra you should leave to put in the spline, other than that it was good.
Allow 2” (min) extra screen beyond each of the frame dimensions.
this video was cut off at 30 sec
thanks for letting me know. RUclips must have done something to it. Now I need to investigate.
I fixed it... youtube somehow trimmed the video. I was able to make it revert back to original. I appreciate you calling it to my attention.
ADD REFRIGERATOR
MAGNETS SO IT'S
VISIBLE FOR DOGS N KIDS
And
DARWIN'S
