I also loved this album. They were a fun bubblegum band. Too bad they didn't break over here in North America like The Bay City Rollers did before them.
Hard as a rock?? Sometimes ;-) They have a lot of great songs! Catch all you can, no problem anymore because there are Rereleases with BonusTracks out now...
That's such a great clip. I love this (a little bit) overdone stage-acting. I could go right to the next concert right now just to have some rl-fun, too. And a beer. Fate made some wicked records.
Someone please help me out....Butterfly, from Fate, from the "V" album. Can't find their homepage on the internet anymore, and dying to hear the song again! Any leads, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hank Shermann from Merciful Fate was in this band. BTW, I refuse to believe that singer was heterosexual. You have a couple of hot chicks dancing around and what does he do? He’s rubbing shoulders with his dude bandmates. LOL, and look at that pink top!!!!
i want to force king diamond to dress like this and sing and dance just like in this video him with danty boots and frill shirt, king put done the bone now smile for the camera
Hank wasn't joking when he said he wanted to go in a non-metal direction, this is about as far from mercyful fate as you can get... this song makes Europe sound as heavy as Slayer... having said that I do enjoy this song though... but didn't the '80's look really cringeworthy
I can recall King Diamond telling a story of Hank Shermann showing up for a Mercyful Fate gig dressed in pink spandex pants. I suppose the writing was on the wall. This is complete shit
Is it crazy to love both Mercyful Fate and Fate? Some days I'm in the mood for horror and some days I need my good old 80s summer flick
Terrific band. Pop Metal at his finest. The synths add an extra classy flavour to the forceful melody
from the man who was writing songs like "Desecration of Souls" and "Welcome Princess of Hell" only a year or so earlier. unreal.
Thats Bjarne T. Holm of mercyful fate on drums also. I cant believe 2 years ago Hank was writing songs like blackfuneral evil satansfall. Unbelievable
Fate
Good Band
Love Em
One of the best bands ever! This album is STUNNING! I hope I will get to see them perform live some day!
ajjaja when i first saw the LP with hank shermann in the cover i couldn't believe my eyes... from mercycul fate to fate LOL great song i love them!!
Pretty good, very catchy. It's hard to believe that the guitarist here was in Mercyful Fate
I also loved this album. They were a fun bubblegum band. Too bad they didn't break over here in North America like The Bay City Rollers did before them.
A melodic rock masterpiece, back to the time when I was a young hairmetalhead ;)
Hard as a rock?? Sometimes ;-) They have a lot of great songs! Catch all you can, no problem anymore because there are Rereleases with BonusTracks out now...
This group featured Hank Shermann from Mercyful Fate!!
Rock n roll was meant to be
Like one 'n one adds up to three
It's in my blood, straight from my heart!
@tigertailz73 The best decade ever! Cars, girls & music were terrific. The legacy of the cool 70's.

Fate and Skagarack - two danish legends !!!!!

absolutamente descomunal!!
That's such a great clip. I love this (a little bit) overdone stage-acting. I could go right to the next concert right now just to have some rl-fun, too. And a beer. Fate made some wicked records.
I won't stop a stop can't stay !

Someone please help me out....Butterfly, from Fate, from the "V" album. Can't find their homepage on the internet anymore, and dying to hear the song again! Any leads, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
As good as this song is, it's crazy to think that it's one of the 'crappier' songs on that record.
"A Matter of Attitude" is an AWESOME 80's record.
OUCHIE

I can't believe anyone from mercyful fate was involved in this crap. ick.
i want to force king diamond to dress like this and sing and dance just like in this video him with danty boots and frill shirt, king put done the bone now smile for the camera
muy buenaa :D
ps.: Is there any chance to get a clip with a better picturequality? Come on. Someone has it on vhs.
A great song. Still, not the scene for King and the rest of Mercyful Fate.
I miss Fate's Hank Shermann.
Why did he get back to deathmetal band?
He's never been in a death metal band tho 🤔
I guess the connection is that both are European bands... get it ?
I can't believe that someone who is capable to write some real good music was involved with a clown like King Diamond!
@BenniiLaRoux I thought the same :D

Gay rock!
Gay rock! Europe blow away these guys.
No, they moved on, "The king" has gotten no-where....
