@@zachoo7765 it WAS on purpose. YG needed that extra push for all viewers to choose Team A. YG scammed the viewers into being loyal to Team A because he wanted Team A to win. He gave them a song that could fit with them and gave Team B a song that didn't suit them at all. The song choices were strange from the start. I think he always planned to debut both groups but Team A first. He just needed the publicity and he loves using survival shows to do it.
Usually I think that team B's performance is better but Team A rocked it this performance. Their lyrics were really beautiful and they did a really good job rearranging the lyrics. I'm glad that Team A won and became Winner. They keep working hard despite losing and improved so much. I'm happy to see how much confidence they have now.
Team A changed the lyrics into Korean, using meaningful words and putting their own stories in it. Team B could do the same but they chose to keep the original lyrics and put all their words into the rap, which is not so impressing 'cause people do it all the time. I think Team B, just like you, thought Baby is not a good song to remake, so they didnt pay too much attention on it. They might think they could win with the song they made by themselves. So they focus on it but then YG made them get trouble with the lyrics. So team B were not in luck, but team A 100% win bc they did perfectly with both songs
And I thought Inner Circles and Ikonics are on good terms but seeing how these two fandoms are bickering and exchanging their own 'opinions' over a show that has ended two years ago, I was wrong. Why keep arguing when you know that even if your 'opinion' is the most legit thing on earth, it won't really matter seeing how the show has ended, the winner has been decided, both groups had their debut and are doing really well. I'm sure Winner and iKon are friends and don't see each other as competition now so let us all chill and enjoy the show.

Agree. I think fanwar between Inner Circles and Ikonics are the most ridiculous among other k-pop fandom. Not just about this show but about every other war they had. Like, they are friends with each other and of the same company!
You know what I realize every time I see this battle why I wanted WINNER to win? It's because when they write their own music and tell their own story it's like they are telling the story of everyone listening... they don't need to be perfect it's their imperfections that allow me to connect with each and every member and that's why they have a special place in my heart.

Over the episode the battles were very concentrated on hiphop and choreography which eam b has an upper hand on. But when it did come to creativity, team a do have an upper hand. Plus, the music that they're promoting right now as WINNER is tilted on the 'ballad' side which is their forte and soulful. I'm not saying team b doesn't have soul in the term where their songs don't have depth, I am merely stating that the kind of specialty they have doesn't really portray 'soul' which, most of team a's original works have. the groups are totally different when it comes to style.
Lucy Diamond definitely agree with you. I can't help but feel that it is biased on happy vibed performances. Even on the previous episodes, tae hyun said he worked hard to change his forte from ballad to hiphop. Seungyoon also said he wanted to make people cry with his songs. they clearly wanted their genre to be ballad. but on show like this who biased more on hiphops, it really is hard to win. team a is really good if not compared to team b.

i think... that the judges/yg were so immersed in teamb "doing so good" that they couldn't acknowledged the beauty of team a's song, really the voices, the lyrics and the vibe/feels are precious, im sorry, but they were just trainees, and that was perfect, (for a trainee level if you want) nicely well done, and with a lot of heart. how come i read the subtitles and listened and was able to relate to it, and them that are koreans and can understand perfectly, can say this wasn't "that good" ?

"but they danced perfectly, so they're better" (and they did they are awesome :P ) but they judged everything team a did based on that, whether it was dancing, singing, or composing o__o also the last song? team b's climax was really really good, i even bought it lol and made people cry and that's cool and all, but people forgot team a were doing that since officially missing you for example, why didn't they acknowledged that? they were all like " oh TeamB, that was a great idea/song" like... I was also confused as the others how and why team b won, the lyrics were goodand their vocals and did a good job on here but i think i only saw the lyrics and not the performance itself, team b is as always doing great performances but i was actually like team a shouldve won here, i also have the thought of the judges being biased but jyp was the only one who saw both team before this battle tho plus i think the judges were anticipating more on team a's performance and expected a lot, so i think team a's perf didnt reach their expectation , now i see and understand the judges' comments of team a. i focused on team a's lyrics and got attached of it. but team b really did a great job than team a on this round.

I honestly cried at seunghuyn's rap, seungyeon and taehyun's vocals were out if this world, and Jinwoo with his unique voice made this song more charming. I love ikon, but it simply wasn't fair, team A's song and delivery were WAY better.
This show hurts my heart :( I feel like Team A got put down alot just because they don't have flashy dance moves. It's not like they CANT dance like Team B. Its just not their style. Whatever this is soooo in the past even though I'm just watching now. Time to move on lol

WINNER is WINNER. iKON is iKON. This show was set to debut Team A from the start (they're older so they wanted to prepare them) and Team B later since they're younger could be debuted later. Also our little baby chanwoo wouldn't have been in iKON if Team B would've debuted. ARghhhhhh YG is cruel AF! WINNER doesn't put much efforts in dance because it's not their style. iKON is more hyper and hence puts more focus on hip-hop and crazy, flashy moves. Why can't the two fandoms move on? :/

I'm actually new to this show, even though it's been quite a while. But can I just say: Team A's officially missing you was beautiful. I don't know what the judges were talking about. At first, they say at the end of the day, their vocals should touch the audience. It touched mine, and definitely many others. So everything else that was said was just pointless. I love it, a lot. Although... I do agree that Jinwoo's 'no mistakes' attitude is strong. Still, fighting! Haha!
Team A is working seriously at 12:00 about what they want to sing meanwhile the children at 12:55 are playing on the phone 😂😂😂I find ikon so precious when they were trainees. Hakuna Matata is their philosophy in life.

두 팀 다 잘하는데 이번 무대는 A팀이 좀 더 인상적이고 여운이 길게 남는 것 같음 편곡도 가사 직접 쓴 것도 진심이 느껴져서 좋고 무엇보다 굉장히 간절해보인다 그리고 신기하게 A팀은 멤버들 하나하나가 너무 잘보임 B팀은 팀으로 완벽한데 개개인으로는 비아이 바비 거기에 구준회 정도만 기억됨

@@zachoo7765 it WAS on purpose. YG needed that extra push for all viewers to choose Team A. YG scammed the viewers into being loyal to Team A because he wanted Team A to win. He gave them a song that could fit with them and gave Team B a song that didn't suit them at all. The song choices were strange from the start. I think he always planned to debut both groups but Team A first. He just needed the publicity and he loves using survival shows to do it.

Usually I think that team B's performance is better but Team A rocked it this performance. Their lyrics were really beautiful and they did a really good job rearranging the lyrics. I'm glad that Team A won and became Winner. They keep working hard despite losing and improved so much. I'm happy to see how much confidence they have now.
i feel like team A was better because not only did they sing in harmony they had a very clear and meaningful message and thats what i like in songs.

Team A changed the lyrics into Korean, using meaningful words and putting their own stories in it. Team B could do the same but they chose to keep the original lyrics and put all their words into the rap, which is not so impressing 'cause people do it all the time.
I think Team B, just like you, thought Baby is not a good song to remake, so they didnt pay too much attention on it. They might think they could win with the song they made by themselves. So they focus on it but then YG made them get trouble with the lyrics.
So team B were not in luck, but team A 100% win bc they did perfectly with both songs

Why keep arguing when you know that even if your 'opinion' is the most legit thing on earth, it won't really matter seeing how the show has ended, the winner has been decided, both groups had their debut and are doing really well. Over the episode the battles were very concentrated on hiphop and choreography which eam b has an upper hand on. But when it did come to creativity, team a do have an upper hand. Plus, the music that they're promoting right now as WINNER is tilted on the 'ballad' side which is their forte and soulful. I'm not saying team b doesn't have soul in the term where their songs don't have depth, I am merely stating that the kind of specialty they have doesn't really portray 'soul' which, most of team a's original works have. the groups are totally different when it comes to style.

Even on the previous episodes, tae hyun said he worked hard to change his forte from ballad to hiphop. Seungyoon also said he wanted to make people cry with his songs. they clearly wanted their genre to be ballad. but on show like this who biased more on hiphops, it really is hard to win. team a is really good if not compared to team b.

i think... that the judges/yg were so immersed in teamb "doing so good" that they couldn't acknowledged the beauty of team a's song, really the voices, the lyrics and the vibe/feels are precious, im sorry, but they were just trainees, and that was perfect, (for a trainee level if you want) nicely well done, and with a lot of heart. how come i read the subtitles and listened and was able to relate to it, and them that are koreans and can understand perfectly, can say this wasn't "that good" ?

Cassiopeia Park god i know right? it makes me so angry also when the battle yg vs jyp? when the rap kids were there doing their thing and in the end nobody talked about how good mino was... like... fuking really? mino was an underground rapper and that's cliché, but i've heard the songs he has and he's good, he actually sounds kinda gansta haha idk, but i mean my point is he was the one who actually had more experience, he did better, didn't forget his lyrics, etc, and those old men couldn't even acknowledge it... honestly that was unjust, team a was struggling mentally and that could have given physiological comfort to mino at least, but nah let's just ignore him. but NOW he's fuking kicking ass in smtm4 and just now, people are starting to recognize him like "ah maybe he's good" like, NAH son, he was good since years ago and you couldn't accept it because team b danced more synchronized than team a, because honestly... that was the whole issue here, i realized this a while ago... they were judging team a badly because they liked how good and synchronized team b danced (which there meant good team work) in everything, because honestly their vocals weren't that awesome, their songs weren't that good, and their lyrics that deep or meaningful, like "winning winning all day" ? ahhhh ok. "but they danced perfectly, so they're better" (and they did they are awesome :P ) but they judged everything team a did based on that, whether it was dancing, singing, or composing o__o also the last song? team b's climax was really really good, i even bought it lol and made people cry and that's cool and all, but people forgot team a were doing that since officially missing you for example, why didn't they acknowledged that? they were all like " oh TeamB, that was a great idea/song" like... NAH. ... but well anyway that's just my opinion :)

I was also confused as the others how and why team b won, the lyrics were goodand their vocals and did a good job on here but i think i only saw the lyrics and not the performance itself, team b is as always doing great performances but i was actually like team a shouldve won here, i also have the thought of the judges being biased but jyp was the only one who saw both team before this battle tho plus i think the judges were anticipating more on team a's performance and expected a lot, so i think team a's perf didnt reach their expectation , now i see and understand the judges' comments of team a. i focused on team a's lyrics and got attached of it. but team b really did a great job than team a on this round.

WINNER is WINNER. iKON is iKON. This show was set to debut Team A from the start (they're older so they wanted to prepare them) and Team B later since they're younger could be debuted later. Also our little baby chanwoo wouldn't have been in iKON if Team B would've debuted. ARghhhhhh YG is cruel AF!
WINNER doesn't put much efforts in dance because it's not their style. iKON is more hyper and hence puts more focus on hip-hop and crazy, flashy moves. Why can't the two fandoms move on? :/

I'm actually new to this show, even though it's been quite a while. But can I just say: Team A's officially missing you was beautiful. I don't know what the judges were talking about. At first, they say at the end of the day, their vocals should touch the audience. It touched mine, and definitely many others. So everything else that was said was just pointless. I love it, a lot.
Although... I do agree that Jinwoo's 'no mistakes' attitude is strong. Still, fighting! Haha!
