Thank you for showing me Palumeu.... I don't think I will be able to go to this part of the interior even if its in my own country... ❤❤❤❤ Lots of love from Suriname
Awesome vid, you can feel how youre enjoying through the screen. I’m getting hungry every time I watch you! This is a blessing to have fresh food in the middle of the untouched and pristine nature that is there. You won’t find this everywhere, so I hope you enjoyed it to the fullest, this complete serenity and pure surroundings. Thats why you appreciated the luxurious hotel in the end even more I guess. Curious to see what is next and your upcoming trips
I've enjoyed this series of videos for I'm quite fascinated by this region, its people and food also the many animals that also dwell there, trees and plants..as always much love..one love..respect.
Thanx David since i saw your vlogs i have watching almost all of them your a nice person also making good vlogs keep up the good stuff man.. nice your been to Suriname its my birthland See you laterz...
Hey David, I give you credit, you are willing to try anything once! Kudus David, I have to know, please what or who was the music by when in the plane flying to your destination? I totally enjoyed this! I first will look below to see if you posted it. Loved it! You know what is sad..many here in the states will never know the taste of fresh fresh food! Thanks for all you do, and sharing these posts!!
I'm wondering if you been in district Nickerie, where you can see those rice fields and many more. is also touristy there too. Nickerie is also close to the Guyana border.
And btw, your way of talking makes me think sooo much of Jesse from breaking bad. That is a compliment though! You talk very clear, so finally I dont have to rewind anymore
Like the vlogs only one thing i dont see or hear about is the African influenced food since like 40% of the population is from African descent someone should take u to eat those kinds of foods ..Now it looks like the black people there just eat Indonesian or Indian food all day
I was thinking exactly the same !! But lets be honest we (creole) hardly have any restaurants. And he is following his guide... So I don't blame him. Btw he tasted bojo but he thought it was Jewish.
I love your video .but ..sometimes is looks like you have got a "food fetisj " But on the other hand...surinam food is really one of best kitchen in the world.😀
In Suriname no one cares with what hand you eat. Not even the Indians that live here. Maybe their ancestors from 200 years ago did. But now we don't care. So it's not bad that he is eating with right and/or left.
Hi David.. may I suggest you eat with your right hand as much as possible when visiting Asian/south East Asian countries. Eating with your left hand in that part of the world is considered unhygienic since it’s used to clean oneself. In the Western wold we don’t care😀Though Suriname is not in Asia we were thought never to use our left hand to eat for the reason I mentioned. Every time you ate with you left hand, I cringed 🤣🤣
But if people are used to eat with their left hand because they are left-handed , you have to respect that. For someone who is left-handed its uncomfortable to use their right hand just for a short time they visit your country because of certain customs. Stay polite though.

I fully agree. I don't see any of the different moksi alesi's for example. Huge missed opportunity.
Are you saying he shoudn’t eat anything else besides that?

Intresting, probably because of the Indian influence.
Renato yes and the Indonesian. My grandparents came from Java.
