Yes thanks Gezza1967 it is a great film in 1975 now in 2020 things have changed miss TAA at Tulla simpler times but also Ansett Airlines of Australia. Two airlines policy great service at the time with pride yes high price but save up and fly Super Apex fares were great big discount at the time! Ansett 727.
Loved the DC-9 a sporty aircraft if ever there was one.The old 727's used to be visible many minutes as they slowly climbed out of Melbourne going to Perth. Very expensive though to fly then .
When I first watched this video I thought it was advertising TAA. Im assuming it was at Tullamarine Airport, the footage. I reckon Qantas should paint one of their boeing 717s in the same TAA livery shown on the video, as the 717s are an updated version of the DC9 like shown in the video, just like Qantas have a livery on one of their 737s that they had in the 70s up until 1984 and they have one in the livery Qantas had in the 60s. After all, when the Govt sold off Qantas and Australian Airlines, they both merged, and Australian Airlines was a rename from TAA.
So great!!!!. ❤
"TAA the friendly way" and their "Whispering T Jets".
Watched many of them taxi in to the Terminal at Essendon airport long ago.
Cheers.

Great to see the old TAA planes, but also nice to see a brief shot of the Gold Coast at 1:22. That has really changed !
Awesome flashbacks!!. ❤
Brings back great memories 👍
I reckon the pilots were having an “Uncle Doug” flying it!

When you knew your most vexing decision was flying either TAA or ANA, you knew you were near vacation time

There are a few Fokker friendships in the background.
