A new approach. I just cheat and turn the design vertical and use the large mat. Works unless it it’s too tall

I’m not sure what you mean? Like there’s an imprint from the edge of the paper on the final product?
I’m doing mats and there’s lines where my papers are joined on the final product
Could you see the seam once it was pressed?
No, if you lone it up perfectly you won’t see it at all.
what kind of tape are you using when you connect the pieces together
Heat resistant tape!

I think it’s soooo weird! It doesn’t cut straight at all. I thought it was just me but this is the second one I’ve gotten that cuts slanted
