This reminds me of the kongo giant spider criptyd zabafofi who olso probably has gone extinct, because before locals were more or less used to them. Until explores came, it was a common animal.
Do you think explorers played a role? The locals have mentioned that they were indeed rare, but I haven't been able to find any information on what might have caused it
@BenImparts I think this time, aither they died of some genetic desease, or incest, wich made them die, or meaby ther prey has been hunted from that place, by the locals. (Talking about the croc). About the spider, i think it was more a lack of prey, because they werent that sneaky, from the stories that i heard.
@@leonardkarolcico3925 I honestly think the croc is still there, judging from the stories, and the Fofi - since it was seen in '13 - could still be there too. What I worry about is that if Europeans come along searching for these things, they'll end up wiping them out.
