Hey man nice installation video of everything very descriptive straight to the point, and I like your eagerness to have everything neat and clean as possible‼️
The truck is coming back together nicely Travis. I have seen the Kilmat used in other videos. They say it is way quiet compared to before. I can’t wait to see your take on it. The carpet looks like it would be a nightmare to get formed to the contours of the floor. You will get it fitting like it’s supposed to be. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Oh by the way , my son and I saw a brand new White Corvette our local Casey’s. Omg!
Love what you have been doing to this truck. I have a 07 NBS Silverado Extended cab and I removed all my seats, center console, carpet and pad, and door panels and put Boom Mat on all surfaces. I also bought a product by Second Skin that is a sound barrier and installed that in my rear seat bottom and the back of my rear seat, plus under my carpet in the back between the factory insulation and carpet. On the doors I did the Boom Mat and also used the Boom Mat acoustic spray. It makes for a very quiet truck. Have not got the courage to remove my headliner yet. One thing I really like about your work is I also have been doing work on the 2006 Yukon Denali. Just did the LED's on the interior lights. Nice to have with us falling back in time.
Time lapse and tunes makes this such a "satisfactory" video. The work you're putting in to your daily is impressive. Your patience level must be high, haha!
@@TWAMotorsports good evening Travis it's Saturday evening and my wife had a date night because I've been putting in alot of my time in my TA...so I took my wife out to Manhattan where the city never sleeps lol.. have a safe rest of your weekend
@@TWAMotorsports good Sunday evening Travis. I don't mean to bother you but can you give me some info on that transmission dolly you have that your transmission is setting on... Thank you Keith..
I did my entire truck cab with Kilmat and it made a huge difference. I hope you enjoy when you get her back on the road. My 06 Silverado single cab is Barb.
I literally just came back inside, from installing the same center console in my 06 crew cab, put the TV on RUclips and there you are about to install a center console…weird. I love that Killmat! I put some in my 49 3100. It would be a hell of a job without a roller. I also used a heat gun on the killmat to make it roll even easier, but it was winter when I did it. I really want to find a way to tap the vents into the hvac box so the rear vents on the center console work. Just not sure the best way to go about doing it yet🤔
Random question, I'm having trouble following, you only plugged the rca into the headunit, didn't connect the wire behind headunit for reverse signal to trigger back up cam? Can bus knows? So just left that small red at back on truck loose also?
In the update please let us know how the killmat works. I'd take my 08 apart and do it if it made difference. The 08 has a lot of factory sprayed on stuff on the floors, but a better ride would be nice.
Just get a good carpet solution agitate with a drill brush and pressure wash the oem stained carpet repeat as needed till all stains are removed and suck up excess water with a carpet extractor or wet vac. Let air dry this should avoid the stiff feeling carpet after. Should save you time and money and the headache of messing with the aftermarket carpet plus it will be oem fitting . Just my opinion trucks coming out great either way
@@TWAMotorsports I got you that was very vague to ask but I want an extended cab project to either lower or lift on my own I'm weary of other people's work I worked at a car dealership and saw some janky stuff
The killmat was a nice touch and the camera actually had a good clear view in the head unit. Can’t wait to see everything finished up and also how quiet the cabin has got!👍🏽
I just sound deadened a 2013 Sierra 1500 crew cab. For future people reading comments here, you need to go over this type of product (or in my case I used Second Skin Damplifier Pro for the bottom layer) with a Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) to really make a difference. I used Luxury Liner pro by Second Skin for that second layer on top.
Hey man nice installation video of everything very descriptive straight to the point, and I like your eagerness to have everything neat and clean as possible‼️
Thank you
I doubled up on the bigger sections of the roof with the same material, made a huge improvement vs single layer
Maybe I should do that.

Thank you. I think it will make a bif difference. Its funny I saw a c8 also. My wife wants to order one but I can't wait a year. Lol
@@TWAMotorsports The C8 is so awesome looking, but the mark up that they are putting on them is ridiculous. Just wouldn’t pay the extra mark up.
Totally agree

Thank you but my patience isn't as good as it looks in videos. Lol
The truck is lookin better and u making it a whole lot nicer!!!

Its a harbor freight dolly

Thank you. I hope its quieter
Great job I just picked up a Silverado and you’ve given good insight
Thank you
Another good spot to get power to the backup camera is the revere light wire on the trailer light plug
Reverse
Definitely would have been easier
I sure hope you plan on keeping this truck, it sure is coming out nicely!
I do for a while
Lots of progress man! Can't wait for you to put it all back together
Thank you. Me neither
Think I’m going to do sound deadening with the next truck, have a great day Travis!
I think it really helps
Great progress on the truck Travis! Really enjoying the videos 💯
Thank you. Getting there slowly
Looking forward to seeing the door sound deadend as well with the final result and test drive .
Yeah I will have to do that also

Yeah. The console was so nasty. Took several hours to clean it up. As for the vent. I kinda rigged something up you will see in the next video
@@TWAMotorsports Nice! Looking forward to it.
Thank you
Sweet, look forward to the next one Travis.
Thank you. Its been a slow process
Looking good, Are you going to install footwell lights with LED’s like the early gmt800s?
No. It has plenty of light with the leds
Great video, Travis. I really want to add the Kilmat to my Tahoe.
I can wait to hear the difference when driving
Random question, I'm having trouble following, you only plugged the rca into the headunit, didn't connect the wire behind headunit for reverse signal to trigger back up cam? Can bus knows?
So just left that small red at back on truck loose also?
Most radios recognize reverse
@ ok sounds good, gonna tackle a backup cam this weekend on an 05, your videos are very detailed and such clean work. Appreciate ya
Thank you
definitely waiting to see how you value kilmat, been considering it for my truck
I can't wait to get it on the road
Truck is coming together great. Would love to put kilmat in my 2000 chevy, but will wait to hear your take if it's worth the time and expense. ✌
Its not too bad as far as price but is a lot of work
It sure is coming together nicely the only thing it’s missing is a blower.
Lol

Will do
You can look on ebay and get a 3d printed storage pocket that replaces the radio in the back of those consoles if your not using it
Wait until next video
Looks fantastic thus far. I assume that the console will need painting? It looked pretty beat up.
Thank you. No actually it cleaned up well
How much you order two do the truck thinking bout buying but dont know how many sheets in need
I used 3 boxes

It had acid or something that ruin the fibers or I would have. I have both and an extractor and a high end steam cleaner
What about the monitor? Witch type of screen goes with this backup camera? (I have 05 Silverado extended cab.)
All parts used listed in video description
How many boxes do you think I’ll take up for a 04 extended cab with 2 layers top bottom and back
Probably 6
Great video looking good an forward to the next
Thank you. Such a slow progress when you are picky
Still have the red stepside?
For now
@@TWAMotorsports how much do you want for it?
11,500. Listed it on here
How many box of sound deadening did you use?

Would you recommend I sierra extended cab and what's a good price
So many variables.

Depends on year, miles and condition

To seat frame
Do you hae part number for back up camara ?

My truck says PEGGY D….. cant wait to see the carpet fully trimmed.
