Thanks for the great content! While I finished studying using several prep-books (finished Powerscore's LR Bible, Blueprint's LG, LSAT Trainer), having this channel as an additional resource has been very helpful to add to my understanding of LR and, at the least, refresh my memory of these concepts.

Lsat Labs is a great LSAT prep company. Way better than other companies. They go above and beyond for their students to learn the material.

Around 2:50 there is an error on the slide... it should be “Concludes that *X* on the grounds that *Y*”. You did say it verbally correct though.

Thanks for spotting that! (now to commence with my self-loathing) :)

12:54, got tricked by D. With all due respect, the 2nd sentence can absolutely be said to form a hypothesis. Saying “This indicates that X depends on Y;” while referring to premises made in an argument falls under the category of “presenting a hypothesis.” What threw me off is the health aspect. It seems as though the hypothesis says “Therefore, the better off/more successful/healthier everything else is, the healthier/heavier the newborn.” If common knowledge were to play a role here, his would make it more specific than A! However, the stimulus never establishes attributes lush food to a healthy ecosystem, nor does it link heaviness in a baby to its overall heath. The 2 are completely independent phenomena of each other.

For those of you who were lost for PT65.S4.Q16 the answer choice is basically saying ... The prediction of “Recession Happening” DID NOT OCCUR.

Question: Can you reaffirm me at 2:52 , "Concludes that Y on the grounds that X" means X=Conclusion and Y=Evidence? Or is there some kind of error?

Ugh. Yeah, that's just a typo on the screen. Naturally, "Concludes that Y" will mean that Y is the conclusion.

In this case, is it best to look at answers first and then match versus predicting?

Yes, unless you're totally at the SuperNerd level of LSAT studying.
Given that this question type isn't super common, it's a pretty big ask to have students memorize the portfolio of common answer choices:
      - analogy
      - (counter)example of general claim
      - bad implications of logic/plan
      - ruling out competing options
      - raising an overlooked consideration
      - calling out a dubious assumption
      - suggesting an alt. explanation
      - defining term / making a distinction
