    Even though I've watched a ton of videos about this topic, this is the one where it suddenly made sense and so it stuck with me. Thank you!
    The funny thing is that now whenever I'm studying and I need to remember something about inferences, I think about Ben eating horse and getting wigged out. That's a visual that lives in my brain now, rent free.

    So for inferences it will always have something stated in the passage ? Even if its the contrapositive ?

    • @dathunderman4
      @dathunderman4 4 года назад +1

      Yes, an inference has to be guaranteed. It doesn’t have to be DIRECTLY in the passage tho, otherwise it’d be too easy. So often times for the correct answers they’ll rephrase things, combine parts, or lead you to make a logical conclusion based on the premises. A contrapositive is an inference, and the most basic one.

      @@stephanieesogenwune218 I’m not part of the people who made this video. I’m just a fellow test taker currently PTing in the low 170s and right before I sleep I sometimes like to watch lsat videos aimed at beginners to see what they’re teaching lol

    An inference is systematic. You combine parts together(evidence) to produce a result(conclusion).

    This was really well explained for the key difference between the two different question types. Thank you.
