    The young man in the video said what is usually true about videos like this....that it doesn't show what happened PRIOR to the start of the recording. He said something about the student being disrespectful. That doesn't excuse the teacher's behavior but it would show the entire story.

      Trolling and speaking facts aren’t the same thing. I work in a school and while I enjoy working with the kids (most of them anyways) and seeing their growth and smiling faces, I can honestly say I can’t stand the current system and policy in schools.
      I feel like kids in schools are babied and coddled to the max and it’s frustrating. That’s why some have no respect for authority and why they won’t succeed in the real world.

    When I was in high school, a kid had to have pushed a teacher beyond their limits in order to make them yell. Kids need to listen to the teachers and put their phones away during class.

      That’s like saying students with a history of bullying and defiance should be required to do homeschooling so they don’t disrupt schools and teachers can focus their time and energy on students who actually want to learn.

    High schoolers are experts at provoking adults and at coordinating a classroom full of other kids to do the same. Be aware and do your best to not get pulled into their trap. They don't care about your reputation, the students who will miss out on your teaching, your career, or your bills. Do whatever is at your disposal to get them in trouble for THEIR actions, which may be nothing at nowadays. But, realize what they're doing and do you best not to get baited in by their tactics.

      The schools needs to suspend them for whatever poor actions they exhibited.

      @@yowsers6475 So, you were obviously triggered by my comment. What is interesting to me, is rather than starting a dialog about the comment, you chose to attempt to belittle me over something that has absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter of the video that spurred the comment. That is bewildering to me, and a little sad, if I'm honest.
      I am a parent of a student who attends a high school in the Tempe Union school district. I think when I find out that the district has in its employ, a teacher who not only has a history of aggressive behavior towards students, but a criminal record to boot, I have a responsibility to speak up out of concern for my kid. And I will not apologize for that.
      And for the record Sir. "What in the hell..." is an idiom. An exclamation used to emphasize surprise, shock or anger. In this context it is used as an intensifier. If the word "hell" had been used as a proper noun, ie; "Go to Hell." then it would be capitalized. I just wanted to make sure to educate you about this. So that, next time, when you decide to play Sentence Nazi, you won't sound like such an ignoramus.

    School districts do not allow teachers to record students’ behaviors. But students do record teachers. You get it. SD should have tangible rules for students’ phone use in class - and enforce student compliance. Teachers should not have to become hoarse daily just dealing w/phone issue. Students should stay home ,instead.

      Parents of those kids need to get off their lazy butts and spend more time teaching their kids manners. That’s the problem. It’s very likely that these same kids are walking all over their parents so they come to school and think they can get away with it there.

    Teachers need human skills training. They walk out on kids in protest of pay, they always say how they are not treated fairly, what about this action. Teachers should NOT enter a classroom to teach if they feel they are one step closer to braking point. NO EXCUSE

    • @amylee8969
      @amylee8969 2 года назад +2

      Well students need to learn the skills of treating authority with respect! And parents need to constantly enforce that! Period.
      Students should NOT be allowed to put their hands on other kids and say the “F-word” to staff. They need to held accountable no matter how much they (or their parents) kick and scream! No excuses.
