- I am excited to finally share my wax collection and storage video! This will be fun to look back on and do an inventory check-in next year. I hope to stick to a very low buy in 2023 and mainly "shop my stash." Thanks for watching!! 😊

You have a GREAT wax collection! What vendors have the longest shelf life for you? I would love to see vendor by vendor collections. I think this video has helped me see that it’s ok to have what brings you joy and not feel ashamed. I also love that you actually melt your wax and give reviews on the performance. That kind of video is more helpful than just all hauls! Tfs
Thanks for watching!! I’m happy to read your comment, I was nervous making this video because I was scared people would judge. I know it’s a lot of wax but it’s my hobby and I love it! 💕 I’m so glad the wax melt empties videos are helpful! I’ll have to update on the vendors shelf life. Maybe I’ll talk about it more in the in depth vendor by vendors videos I’ll make in the future. As of now though, I really haven’t noticed any particular vendors shelf life to be better than others. I’ve noticed that there can be hits and misses from all vendors and if a vendor doesn’t throw particularly well for me I won’t repurchase. I guess that doesn’t really have to do with shelf life as much as personal preference though 😂.
That’s kind of my wax heaven and hell both at the same time …heaven because there’s so much to choose from it’s an amazing collection but hell for me as I’m ocd and have to everything stored in some sort of organised order. I only have scentsy and then 2 other vendors waxes so it’s much easier for me to sort by category but wow …what a stash you have .Enjoy enjoy enjoy ☺️

Thanks so much for sharing! I store my wax by vendor most of the time too. It’s just the way my mind works. I do try to pull some for the seasons just so I don’t have to dig too much. I would say I have a similar amount of wax, which I feel overwhelmed by. I was doing pretty good until I finally started with TB’s last year, lol! I do have some various vendors I don’t buy from anymore, so that helps a lot with lowering my buying. Trying to be more cognizant of what scents & how much I’m buying too. Great video as always😊
I sometimes feel overwhelmed but overall it brings me more joy than stress. I think what has helped is I’ve tried to be good about decluttering/giving to friends some scents that are just not my preferences. I only want the blends I love in my stash. It’s fun trying new vendors here and there, but overall I want to purchase from fewer and just stick with my tried and true favorites! Thanks for watching! 😊
@@EmsCraftyCorner I agree, I enjoy the melting it as well as organizing it. It’s calming somehow. That’s a great point of passing along to others that will enjoy them more. I just destashed some that I just haven’t reached for.

So interesting to see how others sort their wax! My storage couldn’t be anymore different to yours. I have all of my wax in my bottom two drawers of my dresser. I have my wax sorted by season (spring/summer in one drawer and fall/winter in the other) I also have it sorted by when I got it so I’m using my older wax first so it doesn’t lose its scent. I also recently made a spreadsheet of all my wax so I know what I have so I’m not purchasing items I already have two loaves of (unless it’s a fave). I went on a super low buy last year since I was running out of room because at that point I was storing wax under my bed.
When my collection was smaller I tried storing by scent category, but then I decided to store by vendor. Oh yes! I have a spreadsheet of my inventory too, it’s very helpful and when I finish warming I try to write some notes down if I liked the blend or if I’d repurchase or not. Thanks for watching!! 😊💕
You have a really great wax collection! I typically like to store my wax by vendor and then I have some random storage with older wax that I want to use up. But I need to get a better storage system but my storage right now is kinda all over the place lol I haven’t been doing so good so far with my low buy this year but I really need to get in gear! Thanks for watching!! 😊 It’s hard to stick to a low buy because of FOMO haha, but I’ve just tried to not follow the groups so closely and if I ever get tempted I just look at my collection and organize it and pull melting baskets by shopping my stash! 😁
Great stash Em! I also started my low to no buy since Oct. Did some decluttering as well last month which has really helped me focus on my stash. Moving forward, I'll just enjoy my quarterly club order. But then again, spring/summer scents are my wheelhouse, so I might place a 6 or 12 pack here and there. I do organize my scent and vendors.

You have such a wonderful collection! I feel like I store my wax all over the place in my house. I really need to get it organized! Storing the TBs soufflés upside down is a great idea too! I’m not on a low buy per se, but I have decided to cut way down on who I buy from as well as how much I’m willing to spend. Going through my drawers definitely helps me not buy.

Great Video! I love seeing how others store/organize their wax and hobby stuff. I’m also on a very low buy with the hope of using more of my collection because some of my items are losing scent throw which is so sad. Plus I’m moving this summer so less is more 😂.
Great collection! I love seeing how everybody stores their stash. I’m trying to avoid loaves too! For the Teddy bees preorder I only got tubs and soufflés. I promised myself no loaves! Because honestly even if it’s a scent I love, it still takes me way too long to finish them. And I’m on a low buy too. Only made one order ( that was T 🐝 preorder) since the beginning of September )

Nice collection! I don't have anywhere near what you have but I always move older wax up to keep the newest wax in the bottom drawer. I prefer the vendors that date their wax but unfortunately they don't all put it
Right, it’d be nice if all vendors included the pour date but if they don’t I try to write it myself on the label when I get it in. Thanks for watching!
Great collection and storage..I only use clamshells nowadays..I used up couple years ago all of my bagged wax and cups of wax from vendors.

I really loved this video-thanks so much for sharing! I was a little surprised that you didn't have a lot of The Bathing Garden wax as I remember watching your impressive hauls from this vendor. Were you able to use all of that wax up? I still have a lot of their wax to use so I was just curious and impressed I guess. I usually store my wax by vendor and like a lot of others am on a low buy this year. Take care and congrats on your new home!

Love your collection! I'm in a similar boat.....way too much wax, and a low buy is non negotiable this year. I am shocked by how much older wax I have, from 2019 and earlier. I love having lots of vendors and scents to choose from but it does become a burden at some point. Luckily we have a baby on the way this spring, so it's helping me stay focused on using the wax I have and saving our money for him instead. 🥰

I do still have quite a few jumbo clams that I’ll share once I do a loaf collection (I store them with the loaf bags). I just found I had sooo much from all the different collections and many of the scents weren’t my exact scent preference, I probably shouldn’t have gone so large with my orders but was just so excited at the time 😁. It was a combination of warming and giving away to some of my friends.

Hi! I hope you don’t mind if I answer…I’ve been buying vendor wax since 2015. I have had great luck with longevity from TBG, SGA, Southbound, Beezy’s. I did not with RG, ST, VCS or Zeep. I’ve not had TB’s or Lee’s long enough to know. Just my personal experience & it has helped me curb my buying when I go to get out one of those vendors & the scent is gone or mostly so. Hope this helps 😊

You know, to be honest I don’t have any wax that is superrr old, so it has all held up so far! I’d say I really only have wax that is probably as old as 2 years. I try to just pull and warm wax that approaches the year-ish mark so it doesn’t sit too long in my drawers. I haven’t found so much that any particular vendors wax doesn’t hold up as much as just certain blends can sometimes just be hit or miss. I do notice that clamshells can sometimes get a little squishy but haven’t noticed it affect performance. I definitely recommend watching some of JustJenny’s videos. She has experience in the vendor wax world for years and has some great “should you melt this” videos where she’ll talk about warming wax that has been more than a few years old.
This video brought me immense joy. I need to get one of those white chest of drawers for my collection.

She hasn’t announced the RTS yet, but I’m sure it’ll be shortly after she ships the preorder 😊
Are you not scared it will lose scent before you use it? I have accumulated so much wax and now I'm freaking out that it's going to lose its scent before I use it so I tried to do a no buy but failed so now I'm on a low buy. I'm just so scared it's going to lose its scent before I use it!
I do my best to warm older wax before newer blends. I definitely was buying way too much at one point and have significantly cut down how much wax I’m ordering now a days. I’ll do my best to use it but I also gift it to friends so someone else can enjoy the pretty scents instead of it just sitting in a drawer. I’ve heard some people say certain vendors can last for year so I’m not worried yet but we’ll see down the road how the longevity is. 😊
