- I figured I'd let everyone know how I've been using chatgpt, in hopes that it helps somebody out.
The future that we're living in y'all, it's amazing. Kinda scary, but still.

This is so cool. What realy works great is taking a voice memo in google keep. it transcribes the audio directly to text. thanks for sharing.

Ok so it works but the downside is that it will stop taking a voice memo if you stop talking for a while. Whereas just recording audio obviously doesn’t. Still dope, didn’t see that feature before.

Great idea I’ll give it a shot. Thanks. I’ve seen more and more people begin to use virtual assistance to join meetings with them. Then they have the AI summarize the meeting and send out action items afterwards. It’s a bit creepy, but it looks helpful and saves a lot of time on the backend. It won’t be long before we have meeting with just the AIs between companies!
It’s also great for getting started with projects when inertia is standing in my way.
@bobtraweek1414 Agreed. Really helps jump start productivity. And the “creepy” part is totally true. But the tools are free! Might as well use them the best we can…. Right? 😅

You can utilize your phone's keyboard audio feature within any chat window. Therefore, you can bypass the initial transcript by simply using ChatGPT's chat window, for instance.
100%. But I don’t like the fact that I could record text for a long time at the risk of losing it all.
If I have a recording, it makes me feel like I have something more securely saved.
ChatGPT is a language model. Remember that. Its skill is in predicting what the likely next word is.
NOT data.
Expand on that - what is the difference between “next word” and “data”?
@@Sparky_Mark sure. Data - in your case is the dataset you gave it (in most cases its data like numbers and quantitative points).
Next word is probabilities of what the next word would be.
Here’s another way of looking at it. If we - collectively - the whole world. Got together and decided to pretend 1+1=6. And just wrote that and EVERYTHING else made sense (ie 1+2=3… +3=4… and so on… just that 1+1 would equal 6) …
And you asked AI what was 1+1…. It’ll say “6”.
Because that’s statistically based on what it sees as the most likely outcome. Regardless of whether it’s mathematically accurate.
@@Sparky_Mark fun example. Go to chatgpt 3.5 (or any earlier version.). Ask it to spell “lollipop” backwards. You’ll see what I mean.
4 won’t work as it’s improved beyond this. But you’ll get the idea.
