SNL did a 'digital short' with Sasheer Zamata talking about lack of roles for her, and in background is fake billboard for TV show "4 White Guys". Wonder what they were satirizing?
It's like there was a law that everyone had to be white, middle class, and under 35 to be on an NBC sitcoms. All the characters on these shows look more or less alike to me.
Oy... where to begin with this series? Now that you mentioned it, I recall watching it during its brief stint, and I remember one episode vividly that wasn't covered here which chronicled the "likability" (or lack theorf) of the cast members. Essentially, one of them (Josh Cooke's character) is gifted an iguana from a stranger and he suddenly starts to feel the stigma of being a "weirdo" in public, considering that the iguana, by nature, is temperamental and, this was true, would apparently attack anyone if you did anything wrong out of 500 things regarding its care and upkeep, with the resolution being that he gifts the iguana to another stranger so he can eventually feel the stigma of being a weirdo. Meanwhile, Seth Green's character is so hellbent on getting orange chicken that, even at the end of the episode where it's revealed to have been contaminated with e Coli (possibly due to the iguana), he's all "Still worth it!" NBC in the mid 2000s was a wounded animal, given how Jeff Zucker practically damaged them in the long term in spite of creating a short term gain in "Fear Factor" and forced the network to rely on its existing brands, with NBC eventually becoming a budgetary network under his watch, considering "The Jay Leno Show" fiasco. A show like this likely wouldn't have been created a few years prior, but most definitely had the Zucker touch.
seeing that the show was created as a vehicle specifically for green, and they didn't hold any auditions for that role, that seems like a dubious claim.
The mid-2000s was a dark time for three-camera laugh track sitcoms.

And 95% of the shows didn’t make it
Well said.
FINALLY! I thought I was the only one who remembered this show.

This show is Barstool before it became Barstool
If only they had an NFT to base the storyline on.

Wasn't there a short-lived series based on the movie "The Big Chill"?
Literally me
Ah, look, Three's Company, but it's four straight white guys.
Seth's a cool guy..met in hallway at comic con once he stopped to talk and shake hands.
Another great video! A likable cast, unlikable characters!
funny i auditioned for this show the role went seth green

I doubt that. These four were established professional actors.
What about that other Seth Green hunk of crap called "Dads" lol. Seth Green is pretty much shit live action.
The Dudebro humor torch would be picked up by Barstool sports...and it's every bit unfunny there as it is here.
Do Greg the Bunny.
I think I barely remember the concept. Didn't sound interesting. I passed.
In other words the show n the characters were WHACK
