Going up means you have to (Technically) pull your weight upwards, while going down you just have to control where you drop your weight.

I love how brutally honest you are about the hike, and on how challenging it can be. Most youtubers just give beautiful scenery pictures with music and say the hike was fun and that you should try it. You actually give details of like when a person should start making their way to the trail and what to expect.

Regrettably I'm not Japanese but I would absolutely love to go on this hike but here's the thing, not only am I bringing snacks and loads of water for the trip but I am bringing a bowl of instant miso ramen with me along with a small electric stovetop just in case I make it to the top too late or just get flat out rejected because dammit I am eating ramen at the top of this mountain! 🤣

Like, you may have to climb the highest mountain going through turmoil and pain, but as long as there is a reward at the end, whatever it is, will be amazing regardless because of all the sh*t you had to go through to get to that point.
