Fun fact, Nissin makes a tomato soup ramen, and it’s one of if not their most popular ramen flavor in Brazil.
It's surprisingly not bad. Not my personal favourite, but kinda good?
Haven't seen it in years though, so I don't know if they didn't sell well enough here (Bavaria/Germany), or if they don't have it in some shops with really big variety.

Yeah, Nongshim is one of the biggest instant ramyun (korean ramen) brands.
If you like that, then you should try Shin Ramyun.
I was able to try shin recently. I read there was mushroom in it and Google wasn't telling me where so I thought it was in the powder or the soup mix. Then my friend got it for me by mistake and I found it was in the veggie part and I was happy.
My favorite is Samyang ramen
Samyang is pretty good as well but I don't eat much instant ramen these days. When I feel like having ramen I usually just go to the local ramen place in my town because they have excellent ramen with fresh ingredients, plenty of veggies, and the broth/noodle quality is second to none. Yeah, it's almost $10 a bowl but you get a large serving and I can eat on it for two meals so it's really not that much more expensive than most instant ramen (other than Top Ramen and Maruchan obviously, but those are awful).
If I'm going to consume a massive amount of sodium I'd rather do so while eating something that tastes good and isn't processed.
I am sure that the amount of sodium you consumed making this video increased your risk of a heart attack by 100%

I visited London once in 2008 for a week and I swear that black pepper is too "spicy" for most people in the UK. I remember trying a place that had a spicy shepherd's pie and I asked them to make it extra spicy and it was bland and not hot at all. I've visited America as well in 2012 and at least they used jalapeno's in some dishes so that is at least a little heat. I went to a diner in Houston Texas and ordered a habanero chicken sandwich and that was actually hot and had real habaneros on it.
I doubt you could even purchase habaneros in the UK and they are probably illegal there lol!

@@TheYoshieMaster Ohhh yeah I've had the Raoh packets before! It translates to "King of Ramen" so it definately lives up to its name. I wish I could find the bowls or even the miso packets locally, but I would recommend the Soy Sauce and Tonkatsu flavored packets. Here in the US, you can find them at a local Walmart.

I appreciate this kind of video - I always feel like I'm playing a version of Russian roulette when I select a ramen cup to try in Japan... buuuut I have to try them sometimes, because I don't know how long I'll get to be in Japan, and I'll be damned if I can't even talk about what the ramen was like. I have learned that the spicy ones usually kind of suck (and I like spicy food in general). I will look for the Thailand ones...

Here in Spain, the cup ramen is called "Yatekomo", wich is a variation of the prhase "ya te como". That translated to english is "I alredy eat you".

@Paradoxical enigma is a phrase that cannot be translated good enough to make sense in english because is kinda a joke with the words (bcs "ya te como" means "I'm gonna eat you/I already eat you" and depending on the context, is one or the other).
Also, is kinda a meme because It doesn't taste very well and a huge spanish singer with a strong voice, David Bisbal (who even had an EP with his most popular songs in japanese lmao) who sings the commercial jingle "yatekomo, yatekomo, como me gusta yatekomo, yATEKOMO YATEKOMO" ("yatekomo, yatekomo, how much I like yatekomo, yATEKOMO, YATEKOMO").

@@bellechica82 yeah, Korean food is super spicy and salty, but since most Japanese people’s tastes are toned down they prefer something light and sweeter. Kimchi itself is different too, less salty and spicy with a tinge of sweetness compared to Korean kimchi.

When doing a tasting video like this it helps to have a bin off to the side and a bowl for the noodles you dont intend to eat asfar as flavor packets go they dont really need to go in a certain order so just pre dump them in then water the lot also gives the noodles a chance to soak up flavor
