    Will always remember when I saw a JMJ concert on French tv (1994?), when he dedicated this song to children (with historical pictures of children displayed on a giant screen). So emotional I cried, and it still produces the same emotion in me...

    Obra maestra absoluta.

      Jarre est une icone de la musique électronique mais dépasse largement ce cadre. Il est avant tout un vrai compositeur de formation classique, ayant fait ses débuts dans le domaine de la musique contemporaine electro-acoustique dès la fin des années 60. Il aurait pu tout autant faire carrière dans le domaine des musiques de films ou de scène comme son père.

    El minuto 6:41 es una teletransportación a lo que sería el ojo de la tormenta, retoma los acordes del primer Rendez Vous y en medio de los sonidos pesados del arpa laser crean una atmósfera de tranquilidad mientras que suenan de manera secundaria los sonidos de la atmósfera de tempestad a la que se accede nuevamente en el minuto 9:00 y el coro final con los sonidos de sintetizador y los trombones amenazantes... hacen de Rendez Vous 2 una experiencia muy fuerte.

      @@JeanPierreDazuro Merci pour l'info et le lien : je ne le savais pas. J'aime bien Gérard Lenorman : je garde de très bons souvenirs de certaines chansons des années 70 (notamment "Michèle"). Je viens d'écouter un extrait de "la belle et la bête", et je suis surpris de cette utilisation du morceau de Jean-Michel Jarre. Je ne juge pas sur le résultat. Je pense que la chanson est belle. Ceci dit, objectivement, on n'entend pas grand chose de la musique de Jean-Miçhel Jarre : c'est regrettable. Qu'en pensez-vous ?

    • @francoiso3046
      @francoiso3046 4 года назад +2

      @@JeanPierreDazuro pour le morceau de Jean-Michel Jarre, je vous confirme mon point de vue : avec Gérard Lenorman, cela n'a plus rien à voir avec les concerts grandioses (avec feux d'artifice) de Jean-Michel Jarre. Passons. Quant aux années 70, je ne sais pas trop, mais je vous confirme que les années 70 et 80 ont été très riches. Pour les années 80, en France, j'ai découvert des artistes qui réussissent encore, en 2020 : Mylène Farmer, Etienne Daho... déjà, si l'on prend seulement ces deux exemples, on peu dire que nous avons la chance d'avoir encore, pour nous, des poètes : ce sont des artistes qui, contrairement à la plupart des autres (aujourd'hui), travaillent bien leur textes, les sonorités, les images : toute la beauté dans les mots. Aujourd'hui, d'après certains penseurs, notre culture meurt. En tout cas, dans la musique, nous avons encore quelques perles rares. Les perles rares, dans la chansons, en général, sont celles qui arriver à durer, ou qui nous quittent trop tôt, comme BASHUNG; GAINSBOURG, etc... Vous évoquez les années 70... je suppose que vous aimez les BEATLES, les DOORS, etc... On pourrait en parler pendant des heures. Je pense que sans la musique, le monde serait encore plus triste, et beaucoup plus ennuyeux ! Amicalement. F.O.

(few say that "metamorphoses" because it was a big change of style, but I'm not agree. Criticians use to give high opinion about the LP's which are not a repetition of thew one before.
