What do you guys think of the Beats Solo 4?
It's good
As a casual music listener, this checks all the boxes for me. Also, as I own both an iPhone and an Android device, I can use it for both devices. Awaiting Matt in your solo buds review and comparison. Thanks for this video.
The original Solo HD sold in 2010 was also $199.

Once upon a time, everybody was rocking Beats. Now it's more Airpods, Sony and Bose. I bought a budget pair of Anker Soundcore headphones off Amazon for $80, it's the best headphones I've ever owned. Has transparency and ANC. Prior to that I was rocking Monster and Beats (both were wired versions) and it smashes those.
At same price point, Sony ULT wear is better with ANC and transparency mode using the same V1 chip as the 1000XM5.
I need to test those out

I still have my Ivory Beats Solo Pros and a lot of other Beats products. between these and The Solo Pros...The Solo Pros still last 2 days and still holds great in quality and aesthetics. For them to take away ANC...eh...even with the Solo Buds thats coming..even though those will be $79.99 which is cool if you're not into ANC...its a steal...but my fellow ANC lovers..nah Solo Pros still are The Great headphones for me
I'm completely ok with the entry level products but sometimes I feel it worth spend a bit more money to get the extra features, especially thinking in a long term use of the product.
Ya I agree especially if you plan to keep them for a long time. Headphones dont change as drastically or as quickly as other tech products.

Incorrect about the Studio Pros, they do NOT sleep or turn off when folded. Only the older, and no longer for sale, Solo Pro do so.

The beats solo 3 wireless were $300 retail. The solo 2 were $200, and the solo 2 wireless were $300. Seeing these at $200 is odd.
What would be a better alternative for that pricepoint? 🤔
