Always remember the eye holes are always Almond shape the little swirl at the corner of the eye is where the cuts will go to which you did it right good job..
I don't like mohair. I used crepe hair. 3 feet (about a meter) is enough. It comes in a curly braid but just give it a dip in some hot water and it will straighten out. Nice work chap!

Great conversion, mate. Definitely agree with how stressful the eye cuts are, I was shitting myself when I opened up the eyes on my Spock mask conversion.

Genius idea using adhesive remover. The first kirk I converted I just pulled and pulled and ended up pulling some paint off.
Wish I had that mask. A perfect rehaul of 2018. But don't have that budget. I have a 70 dollar budget for masks.

But TOTS didn't do the Sideburns hairline correctly it's to swoop instead of going straight down with a little bit like a tiny bit of a swoop..

I tell you what now, for this being your first Kirk conversion you nailed it . I think it looks just as good maybe even better than most I’ve seen done. Something about the way you envision the 78 mask is very accurate to me. You are extremely talented and have incredible taste and the right eye for details. Thumbs up DK
