Nice work! Im getting ready to build one for my first grandchild. What is the name of the Lee Valley hidden connectors? If you had a part number that would be awesome. Thanks.
They’re Megalox Panel Connector Item 00S0184 They’re really easy just line up your mortises and they go right together. They only problem is they’re just a hair wider than the bit I used for the mortises. If I was to do it again I’d make a template instead.
Thank you. I thought it turned out rather well. They’re megalox panel connectors from lee valley. The mattress frame is suspended from two strips of poplar glued to the bottom edge of the side panels. It’s just a sheet of 1/2 Baltic birch plywood.
I don’t have plans. I have my original sketch up model but because of my material constraints it looks quite a bit different that the actual crib. The rough dimensions are built around the standard crib mattress size. It’s 28 inches by 52 on the inside and every thing else is built out relative to that. The sides are 32 inches tall and the bottom of the rails are 5 inches off the floor. I might be persuaded to draw up some plans for a small financial donation 😁

Thanks for the sub as well
I love that. Label the joints so I can ignore later.
Glad you enjoyed the commentary
Great work 👍I like the design.
Thank you turned out pretty good.
It would help to explain the grain if you wet the wood, easier for us to see.
Good idea. Next time I’ll do that.
The panel connector hardware is genius. Where did you get it? Also, how did you suspend the mattress frame?

This is awesome! Any chance you can share the sketch up file?
@@markkielman4777 to be honest I don’t remember if I made one. I’ll look.
Do you have any plans or dimensions available?
