My wife was diagnosed with these two symptoms along with Chiari 1 malformation. Doctor acted like there wasn’t much they could do. Wish there was some way for you to be able to help her. She’s dealt with a lot over 3 years because of this.

Out of curiosity, is there any specific medical or physiological reason as to why we cannot simply put in a new disc like material? Or has their simply not being the technology invented/ developed yet?

Not developed yet. Nothing has been proven to regenerate this disc although there is some early literature looking at stem cells

@@antoniowebbmd has there been any Research into possibilities that would replace the disc but perform the same function somewhat like a hip replacement?
Because correct me if I am wrong please, but I believe that spinal fusion causes reduced mobility within the spine no?

@@antoniowebbmd @antoniowebbmd I’m dealing with a problem I was attacked on the job by a patient worker’s compensation and my employer has been working against me so I tried to find a lawyer the doctors they sent me to told me they do not give pain medication to patients because all they wanna do is sell them, and I told them I’m not them I don’t do drugs I told him I was having radiant pain going down my legs and arms and it was making me my back was in so much pain and my neck was too I fell on my back while having a patient in a one man hold due to no one else as staff helping me and I got my legs taken from under me so me and the patient fell straight back on the concrete floor and I bounced I told them my neck and back was hurting they made me wait almost two months before I was able to see any one there doctors not doctors ignored my pain and wanted to do injections that did not work the pain was getting worse I had to quit my job due to the doctors refused to take me out of work and I could barely get out my bed I moved out of state and seen a new doctor who told me he needed to send me to a neurologist because of what he seen on my MRI now noted the first two doctors refused to do a mri on my neck only on my back I was sent to the neurologist and he told me my neck injury was bad that I had 3 options 1 PT 2 if PT didn’t work than an injection 3 surgery because I was in pain in both arms and weak in both arms and my arms begin to lose feelings in my arms and tingling was already happening then I lost feeling in my left arms and then it would come back and back and forth but the pain and the tingling always stay it’s constant and the doctor told me that if my symptoms got worse that I needed to surgery I did all he said and I’ve only been getting worst then workers compensation said that doctors was a doctor they recommended but they lied so I ended up moving due to not being financially stable due to losing my job so I moved to sc and they doctor here is ridiculous he refused to do an updated MRI after he said he needed to due to the fact I hadn’t had one in over teo years I have since gotten worst I was sent to PT here and the instructor was disgusted at the fact of no mRI being done and said I’m only gonna get worst due to the fact of them not doing they’re jobs I had asked and so has my lawyer about getting a disc replacement or acdf but this pain management doctor refused and continue to injection in my back that are not helping at all I need help my arms are weak I’m in constant pain and sometimes I lose the feeling for them for hours can you help me

Could human beings create artificial life in the future?
What if we reach the point where almost every part of a body can be replaced?
