The Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy will present key findings and recommendations from their recent report, a collaboration with the Boston Foundation, titled “Investment in Early Education and Care: Celebrating Successes, Looking Ahead.” The report examines this question: Given unprecedented recent investments in early education and care in Massachusetts, how can the sector capitalize on these dollars to build a nation-leading, coordinated funding model? The report compiles a comprehensive list of funding sources supporting early education and care, analyzes their current impacts, and offers recommendations for improving coordination and effectiveness to lay the groundwork for future investments. We will hear from Brian McGahie, Senior Associate, Elle Jansen, Chief of Staff and Dr. Chad d’Entremont, Executive Director.
