I'd always heard about Space Hero Peter in my AP Space History classes, but there's something different about seeing the actual footage from the Nuclear Nuggets Mothership Run. It just made it more real to me. #neverforgetspaceheropeter
Peter is officially the coolest person on RUclips. In the entire world too, possibly. Makes mindblowing art, can craft a spaceship with his bare hands and has a Fender bass as well as an LTD telecaster.
The only thing that bugs me is how he skipped the ore flight checklist. Those checklists are important here on earth and even more so when traveling in space. Safety first Peter, what kind of example are you setting?
Brings back memories from when my son became a Star Wars fan. I made him a spaceship out of cardboard. He wanted to sleep in it! It then was turned in the TARDIS when he found out about Dr Who. Peter, this is such a fantastic video. You're having so much fun. 😍
Oh the forts of cardboard box come flooding back to mind. Never fall flat pretending to be a shot missel!? Major fail! Though I know those that shot me were in complete convinsing whilst my poor head throbbed from the fall. LOLS @ Peter's vocal enhancements. I can tell you have either thought out the sounds many times or had worked it out a couple of times. Bravo at your inner child is an understatement! Cool spaceship art! Peter, I wished there to be a companion seat for play. I so would have loved to be the mate. 😎❤😁
Oh I loved watching this!! My brother and I had a cupboard that we painted white and then drew all sorts of space shippy parts in. We have an awesome mom, so she thought it was cool. Have a good weekend, Peter!
Peter you remind me of my boys when they were 5 and 7 years old and made their own spaceship with a cardboard box that a refrigerator came in. They spent every minute in that box pretending to be Star Wars .. Gosh I forgot how good those days were. I am going to share this with them.. I’m sure they will get a kick out of this. 😂😂. Men are just little boys in big bodies ❤️
Stepping out in the caped spacesuit?!! Your genius cross between Darth Vader and an astronaut gave me a great smile and hearty laugh 😊. Thank you Peter.
My son is 9 years old and we enjoyed a lot your video. Forget about technology, have fun with simple things, even if he's the only child at home. Thank you Peter 🥰😍👏👏
Hullo Peter, thanks I was blasted back to 10 years old when my parents bought a refrigerator and I cut and shaped and created my own Space ship. Of course yours looks dramatically better than mine from my memory. Although I did get to use Legos as switches and buttons, lots of colorful additions and make-believe light up lights. Thanks for continuing to be one of the most creative creators on RUclips. Nice drawings as well. Be safe have a great day!
This is so awesome. I found it while looking up how to make a control panel for my grandsons box rocket. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Yours came out much cooler but ours was good for copying. My kiddo loves it. Keep the imagination coming.
"Rerouting to power to the front....??... battery." I'm dying. Why would you route power _to_ a battery. Doesn't power usually come _from_ batteries lol. And I was not expecting such a climactic ending either. Bravo. I'm glad I'm subscribed to this channel :)
This was great and a nice reminder to stay playful but we need to discuss why all of a sudden NASA is an armed force and how a mission of artful and scientific exploration became kill orders I guess I never realized how aggressive NASA really is
I thought I had seen your best work before this. OMG was I wrong. It is refreshing to know someone is still living out my childhood dreams like a boss!!
i’ve been following you for years and you never disappoint. absolutely love your videos, creativity, and authenticity Peter! you’ll always be my favorite person, love from Florida :)
I attempted to make my own pink spaceship when I was little. I loved space but unfortunately I had to give up as I didn’t have enough pink pencil and the sellotape was peeling off. I did, however, manage to make my own boat, which was just a washing basket with a blanket in for comfort purposes.
Is this Peter Draws? Or Peter Sellers? Or Peter Draws as Peter Sellers? Whatever it is, whoever it is, I love Captain Peter in all his glory. Thank you for taking us with you on this glorious journey of imagination and delight.
Closing in on the million subscribers Peter. Keep up the great work. You have cheered me up this fine evening! (this would have been a great project for the infamous 'Blue Peter' on the beeb.
I'd always heard about Space Hero Peter in my AP Space History classes, but there's something different about seeing the actual footage from the Nuclear Nuggets Mothership Run. It just made it more real to me. #neverforgetspaceheropeter
Yeh you received authorisations from supreme captain Peter! Good job
Peter out here living everybody's childhood dreams
He's living everyone's cats' dreams, at least
Imagine having Peter as a dad
Peter, you really are a "free" man. I love how alive the child within you still is! I envy that playfulness. Love your content! Keep it up!
I wish I could have been his copilot on this harrowing mission. Maybe space hero Peter would still be with us
A whole story played out in front of our eyes - never forget Space Hero Peter
The ability to play as an adult is such a gift. I know many kiddos who would love your spaceship or to join you on your spaceflight. Great video!
It’s awesome that as an adult you still can find an empty cardboard box inspiring!
☆⁂★⁂ Imaginaaaaaation ⁂★⁂☆
What was in the box??
@@StefanCreates I imagine you also had spongebob making a rainbow in the air while writing that

You know you miss your childhood when you see another adult drawing and playing with cardboard for 10 min and want to join in
I thought I missed my childhood until I realized that it was my imagination that I lacked
@@jadenweller6675 damn
Never too young to play
This man is unapologetically childlike,
and I love it.
This was so much better than the star wars sequels. I really missed this kind of content. High five space hero Peter ✋
You need to check out the Japanese guys who reenact star wars with cardboard and cheap props.
@@recoveringsoul755 that too is probably better than the 3 sequels
i don’t know why but the hard hat on top rlly adds to the ambiance
This actually looks sick. Exactly what 12 year old me thought he made. When in reality it was like 10% as good lol
Shall we have a party, I wanna play
Needed nothing more than that title to instantly click. Love cardboard boxes, love rockets, love cardboard box rockets. Can’t wait!
The only thing that bugs me is how he skipped the ore flight checklist. Those checklists are important here on earth and even more so when traveling in space. Safety first Peter, what kind of example are you setting?
"Ground control to Peter Draws"🎶
Perfect!
Proof that special effects are unnecessary for a compelling space movie if you have the right story and the right actor.
Brings back memories from when my son became a Star Wars fan. I made him a spaceship out of cardboard. He wanted to sleep in it! It then was turned in the TARDIS when he found out about Dr Who.
Peter, this is such a fantastic video. You're having so much fun. 😍
Looks like you're one green screen away from making low budget sci fi. :D
(I just say that because I kept imagining the space outside the ship and found myself thinking - that's something Peter could have drawn too.)
I hope someone makes a montage out of this video where Peter is actually battling aliens in space in his cardboard box.
Dude... I'm crying. Peter is all the world needs.
Oh the forts of cardboard box come flooding back to mind. Never fall flat pretending to be a shot missel!? Major fail! 😎❤😁
I’m not young, but I would love to sit in that spaceship
Glad you included the bleepers and bloopers, most people forget those and their ship loses points in the safety inspection
A cinematic masterpiece rivaled only by Morbius
It’s morbin time
Oh I loved watching this!! My brother and I had a cupboard that we painted white and then drew all sorts of space shippy parts in. We have an awesome mom, so she thought it was cool. Have a good weekend, Peter!
This is not what I expected to see... but it was the right thing to see... lol
Well done Peter! Never change! 😂
7:44 honk honk

I was imagining every vivid detail in this beautiful dramatic thriller and I was very invested. Quite the cliffhanger! Might need a sequel 🤔
This guy makes some pretty good seatbelt noises
Feeling really sad for the chair just watching you have so much fun in the box it came in.

This was as fun to watch as Im sure it was to ride that ship
Don't know why but this video is probably one of the best 😂
And the award for Best Self Directed and Designed Short goes to Peter Draws!!! 🏆👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Stepping out in the caped spacesuit?!! Your genius cross between Darth Vader and an astronaut gave me a great smile and hearty laugh 😊.
Thank you Peter.
I'm glad you survived that cardboard cutout of a dreamwarp.
This is what being an adult should be like.
Space Hero Peter gave his life for us all, his sacrifice shall never be forgotten 🙏
I swear this is my favorite RUclips channel 😂
Every single night I queue about 15 videos to fall asleep to. This woke me up. Was the strangest experience ever.
This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen, thanks Peter.
It's like watching a kid opening their presents at Christmas.
Not playing with the toys, just the bloody free box.
Legit laughed out loud at some parts, awesome video Peter!
My son is 9 years old and we enjoyed a lot your video. Forget about technology, have fun with simple things, even if he's the only child at home. Thank you Peter 🥰😍👏👏
Amazing, I was at the edge of my seat the whole time, and I learned a lot about spaceship mechanics and engineering, great job here Peter.

You just peaked with this video
possibly the greatest thing i have ever watched on this channel
This is profoundly adorable. Thank you so much for this.
I love your playful art. it reminds me to see things easily and simply. thanks
Strong Calvin & Hobbes energy here.
This is so awesome. I found it while looking up how to make a control panel for my grandsons box rocket. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Yours came out much cooler but ours was good for copying. My kiddo loves it. Keep the imagination coming.

i would love to see peter try some kit bashing
A soldier, a friend, a hero, may his memory live on through our cause 🕊

Peter! You did not!
No you did not build a....
...
See this is why we all love you!
Thanks for making this crazy world a better place.
Taking a sip of soda just as the nuclear nuggets were opened almost resulted in my own system being taken down by a liquid spray attack.
Oh, you know that spaceship is staying for months in a corner of the living room, I've been there
Yeah it’s hard to get rid of! Haha
I wanna hang out with Peter and build cardboard spaceships
Love how you take the cross off first
This was a better movie then all the starwars sequel movies by far!
This man is amazing. Having the most fun and letting us enjoy with him
Better special effects than Plan 9 from outer space.
Out of all the things to be surprised by, it was when he honked the horn that I accidentally spit out my food 😂 14/10 Will watch again.
Ephemeral Rift would be very pleased with your cardboard contraption
Delightfully bonkers...🤣 and creative too of course! 😉
Still better than Space Odyssey. . 💪 Genius on not leavin' out coffee machine
Never smiled sooo much, Peter you hit that nerve...
STAND CLEAR.
Can I come around your house and play ???
I still love a good cardboard box myself!
Imagine being a kid and having Peter as a dad to play astronauts with! 🥰
2:36 Yoooo peter got the drip
I want to see the face of the neighborhood kid you gifted that to!
I hope he films the local kids playing in it, not sure he could put it online though, consent and all. Maybe blur their faces?
I thought I had seen your best work before this. OMG was I wrong. It is refreshing to know someone is still living out my childhood dreams like a boss!!
Spaceman spiff would be proud!
A master class in make believe.
Show your kids.
coffee machine is the most important part
maybe if you ran out of coffee you could make a chemical caffeine maker
Always great to see Peter getting more creative and trying new wacky things
That was great! Thank you and you did a great service Peter! The mother ship thanks you for your commendable heroism! 🥇🏆
I love you, Peter. Safe travels out there, soldier!
OMG! Peter! Please, never grow up! 🤩
Just found out about your cardboard spaceship video! And subscribed. I've wanted one too (for several years). Thank you.
This.... was wonderful.
That mothership must be MASSSSIVE
You never know what Peter will post. This was great. Thank you Peter.
The little headrest in the back 😂🥰
If this was a competition he would already win.
Love from Nyc(e), Cap'n Peter. Once again you've outdone yourself! Your imagination is seemingly boundless and we your followers salute you!
Soooo incredibly talented Mr Peter Draws!!😃😇 Thanks for sharing your art with the world.
I kept waiting for the console to come off bc the glue was still white so not dry? Love the sound effects and pure creative energy 👏💯🖖

I love your level of ridiculousness. May we all take a moment to recognize the heroics of Captain Peter, savior of our beloved planet.

awesome work Peter, thanks for sharing
Kids always love the box and not the item.
I'm the same, I've spent hours on a cardboard box, more so than the item that came within.
This is the hottest thing I've ever seen a grown man do.
Thank you peter for finishing my childhood dream.
The Tide Pods!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, the chair is awesome, but that box? mmmhhmmm delish!
