People have different "sounds" they associate with REM that largely define which records are their favourites. To me, it's Michael's voice, which largely rules out most of their first four albums hahaha. Although I love Reckoning, I love Fables and I love most of Pageant, I just prefer their later songwriting approach. I think they wrote better songs later on in their career, and certainly better lyrics.

One song that stays with you. One of the better songs. Sinilar to lifes rich pageant songs
