Juan Pablo Torres You are so right. I think more and more People are starting to hear this fine ladies work though. I've been lucky enough to see Aldous and band twice already. I think the only down side to increased popularity, is that venue size will increase also. Plus the sometimes intimate nature of Aldous's work could be to some extent lost within large venues and audiences. Long may Aldous be creating wonderful music that is shared with the World.

To be honest, I stumbled across Aldous Harding by RUclips accident. So I clicked on a video of her on stage. I don't remember the exact song but it was diffent for sure. Being unsure what to expect, I was reluctant to processed forward, not being use to seeing someone express themselves so physically with her gestures and expressions I almost clicked away, but decided to give view. Luckily for me that evening I left an ear open for a something new,, something for me to move forward musically with. I'm so glad I did, because she is amazing artistically. Unique for sure. I find this particular song to very hypnotic, relaxing and her voice is so comforting and familiar. She puts so much passion into her music, that's what makes a musican a true artist.

Such a mesmerizing performer and what a stunning live performance of this song. Gorgeously stacked with sentiment from the heart. I adore Aldous Harding's song writing. Thank You so Much! The Current

Is this a piano line from Satie? I can't believe that I listened to this song early on my AH journey, came back after nearly everything - this all was a matter of 2 months - and now coming back to it, it feels like I've always known this song.

I recognised the piano line as well. I went through my CD collection to find it. It's a modified version of the lead piano line from 'Sur un Vaisseau', the first piano piece of 'Descriptions automatique.' Satie himself, however, based that piece upon the melody of an old nursery rhyme.

@@laokoon303 It had been bugging me for a while. I knew it was from Satie, but I could never be bothered to find out what it was.

Can you make a space on the seat?
    A box-like shape for a silly woman?
    Damn, a chamois
    I thought I'd made a tambourine
When I am led, I resent
Only when I'm left do I know what I said
The old, it bickers with the fresh
When I'm standing, with my brush in the emptiness
Sorry I was late and you didn't get your weekend
Sorry I was late and you didn't get your weekend
My mother said "Why must you drag all the hopes out of bed?"
    I blame the seasons
We all have our reasons, I meant
Sorry I was late and you didn't get your weekend
I did at one time attempt
In landing sleeves and a silly ribbon
There must be a reason, he said
I know the reason, he meant
    Damn it, Hanny
When you jump, up and down
The chains, almost sound, like a tambourine
