Not wise to use a filter without a box, even less wise to have your front tire push all the water and dirt on your air intake.
5:40 the stock exhaust is bent in an angle. You need to get the after market exhaust that uses springs for both the muffler as the header. The wider area on your stock exhaust is the catalytic converter, and is required in certain states.
I personally modified the stock muffler to sound better, but you can also cut off the muffler and install an aftermarket one (using the stock pipe).

Maybe you already know, but moving the clip will change part throttle mixture, basically midrange, but at wide open it will be the lame unless you change the main jet 👍
Did you ever find out what was the fat part on the pipe? Was is a catalytic converter?
I didn’t cut it open, just scrapped it
Question: Emissions Delete.. Did you crimp and weld or seal in any way or literally just a cut and crimp? The bike is looking wonderful my man! My only suggestion being.. you should look into getting a "shift lever support bracket" for the shifter. That way if the bike ever goes down or tips over the support bracket takes the blow and you don't damage the drive train! Another fun piece you could get in an accent color of some sort! Your bike is looking awesome!!
Oh man it’s been a while since this iteration.. I just crimped it off because I knew I was going to the 141cc “big bore kit” it stayed like this for maybe 3 miles… after the big bore kit wasn’t enough I upgraded to the zongshen 190 (zs190) and then put a big bore kit on that and made it a 4 valve 212cc, if you are browsing my page you’ll see the process I went thru on it

I tried to do a lot of looking into things before I actually did the work on this or even ordered it… so most of what I know was passed down from others!
Does anyone know the thicker wider part of the pipe is? Is it a catalytic converter or an empty resonator?
I wonder if you can get polyurethane inserts for the cushion drive... or is that already what someone did?
Holy project Batman... I didn't realize this was new. Seems like a fun little toy for the money ! Also really cool that there is so much available for it.

I have the oem Honda grom ones, just have to put them in, moments after I ordered this I also ordered ALOT of parts to make it better, my 2 year old decided I needed to record a few parts…

I actually already did the big bore, the cam after looking into it more was not the route I wanted to go… the steps to put the big bore in a really easy thou, set engine at top dead center, loosen cam tensioner (bottom of the engine looks like a 2nd oil drain) remove cam gear access window by taking bolt out from right side of engine, take off cam gear, loosen head bolts and pull off head and cylinder piston, replace gaskets, install piston, cylinder, gasket, head, torque down head bolts, double check top dead center, install cam gear/chain…
