- Well, someone said if I sang Barracuda, I'd get the Golden Throat Award. I wanted that award so badly from the time I was 3. Okay, not really but anyway, here it is. If I sound quite feminine it's because .... I'M TRYING TO SOUND FEMININE! :)
I got the no-vocals track from some YT channel. All the vocals on MY vid are me. I also did a guitar cover of this one. • Barracuda - Heart guit...
I was in a-fib when I recorded this and pretty much everything in Nov and Dec 2018. I guess you can't keep a musician down. haha

A fantasy it is! hahaha cuz I can't begin to hit these notes in real life. I used pitch shifting to do it. It would be crazy if I could sing it in real life.

actually, only because I pitch shifted my real range up by NINE semitones to sing this one. So, my real range is baritone or maybe deep baritone. on my best day I have maybe 3.5 octave range is all.
And the golden throat award goes to...Truthsurge!! I really liked that.
Aw, thanks, man. There's spots I wish I could have done better. Mostly some lame high notes that I think I could do better but it got better as I went.

The most popular channels on YT are the under age 25 demographics and are geared towards the trends of the right now. So, true talents such as TS don't get the views in comparison. I am happy that TS is getting props that he deserved. however, I agree that he is deserving of more!

um.... I have no idea what that is but I'm actually using pitch shifting software so I sing the song lower (in this case 9 semitones lower!) and then shift me up 9 semitones so I am in the album key. I don't think anyone else has done this before or is doing this. I started doing it out of necessity cuz I really wanted to sing these higher pitched songs IN the same keys.
So, that's it. I know very little about voice technique. ty!!

It's me but I pitch shifted myself with software and ingeniously ( hehe ) figured some way to make it sound decent instead of all digital artifacts and cluttery. It takes a lot of time after singing it to massage it into a nice zone. THEN, not only that, but I sometimes sing it two or three times then I take not only the best take but the best LINES and use those for the final result and NOT ONLY THAT but I'll even resing a line after all that if I'm not happy with it.
I watched the rainbow in the dark cover first. Then came here thinking "damn i know itll be good but i dont know what to expect." And then BAM! I am blown away at your vocal range 😲
