they are dark and deep ..perfect
The MELODY
I love Disturbed! I think you'll also like Stupify, Vengeful One, The Light, and Ten Thousand Fists. They have so many great songs! 🤘
Definitely “The Light”! Especially the official video. Very inspirational.
Definitely! Also Deify, Inside The Fire, Another Way To Die, Land Of Confusion, Serpentine, and Down With The Sickness 😊😊😊
Oh and The Game
Stupify is one of my favorites 👍
Don't forget the curse, parasite, legion of monsters, and warrior
You can't go wrong with any Disturbed. Great band and vocalist. This song is my fave from them!
Disturbed's lyrics are almost always something that make you think, you just have to get in there and pick them apart sometimes.
A few you might like: "Hold Onto Memories," "A Reason To Fight," "Are You Ready?"
I'll throw "Legion of Monsters" onto that list ;3
"Heavy Metal Singers can't really sing" they said... David Draiman: "Here, hold my OH-WAH-AH-AH-AH!!!"
You have no clue how good they sing
Man :D Good one :D
Disturbed isn’t Metal or Heavy Metal. They are Hard Rock
@paulhowse6169 Doesn't matter what they fall under, the fact is there are plenty of good heavy metal singers out there past and present, Dio, Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, forgot the name but Anthrax singer and many more.
@@up0820 of course there is, I didn’t say there wasn’t it. What I was saying is that Disturbed doesn’t fall under Metal, it’s hard rock. Yes he has a great Hard Rock voice.
To see you two bobbin heads to Disturbed makes me enjoy your reactions even more.
You guys have grown to appreciate all kinds of music you wouldn't have experienced, and done it since...well, less than a year!
Does my old heart good that we three were bobbin heads in unison!
❤️
You all should see the music video for this song it's awesome and everything you've been describing while listening to the song and reading the lyrics it comes to life tenfold in the video hope you watch it
@@edwardleonetti2492 I know the song and videos back to the original S&G to several covers up to and including the Disturbed and the Pentatonix versions. Disturbed video is the most powerful of any video version/cover I've ever seen.
2 Disturbed songs that are polar opposite’s in style yet both will bring you to tears - Inside the Fire and Hold on to Memories
Disturbed is epic. The dark sound isn't like alot of other bands dark sound, it doesn't pull you down but instead it lifts you.
Awesome.
"The Light", "Prayer", "Hold On To Memories" are a must! ❤️
If you like this one, you'll LOVE their song Ten Thousand Fists. Also their song called "Stricken" showcases the lead singer's vocal range. Disturbed are a badass band!!!
Can't go wrong with a classically trained lead vocal and the huge talent backing him up. More Disturbed!
you gotta hear inside the fire, a reason to fight, are you ready, hold on to memories, the light and voices
"The Light" will become your new favorite Disturbed song. Very powerful positive message in it.
"Indestructible" is one of my favorite songs!
When you hear it, you can't help but think you're unstoppable -- that you are the "immovable object" and the "unstoppable force" all rolled into one.
"Cry Havoc! And let loose the dogs of war!"
Like when Joker and Batman joins forces
Overall, I'd say Disturbed isn't really in my music collection wheelhouse...but "Indestructible" was the reason I had to purchase this album. I love that song.
This song was written as a tribute to the US military. I can't think of a better one, although "Warrior" has a similar tone to it. I'm so glad y'all are enjoying Disturbed. My intro to them was 20 years ago, and I've seen them in concert at least 5 times. Can't wait till they tour again!
Just think how many Super Bowl ads music you will now recognize the artist/song. You've come so far in a year
I agree completely, Disturbed is definitely some heavy metal but the lyrics add to the quality of their songs
I'm an Army Infantry veteran. This reminds me of my time in the Army. I love this song and still work out to this song every day. You guys ROCK!
Thank you for your service
Been a while since you did Disturbed! There is literally no voice in metal like David Draiman's, it's so full of passion and character. You already did "Sounds of Silence", "Stricken" and "Down With the Sickness", but my all time favorites of theirs are "Stupify" and "Prayer". Thanks for giving them another go! HOO DEY!!! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
I'm a huge Disturbed fan and "Prayer" and "Stupify" are my favorites too. "Prayer" and the entire "Believe" album helped me get through a difficult time in my life. Their music and especially Draiman's voice speak to your soul.
Prayer is the song that got me hooked on Disturbed. Love them now!!!
Disturbed is one of my favorite bands!
David Draiman has such a powerful voice.
More from them to try. : Stupify, Voices, Ten Thousand Fists, Remember, Prayer.
Another powerful voice in metal, and since you guys are teachers, is Joakim Broden from the band Sabaton.
They are a metal band from Sweden that writes songs about military History. Try Bismarck, Soldier of Heaven, Night Witches, No Bullets Fly, and one for Christmas time, Christmas Truce.
Always giving me more to listen to
@@itsmedino Why not? 🤣🤣
@@itsmedino Oh, and Sabaton's drummer, Hannes Van Dahl, is married to Nightwish frontwoman ,Floor Jansen.
Agree wholeheartedly. Power metal in general has a lot of the most soaring, high energy or gritty, earth shattering vocalists. Brittany Slayes, Yannis Papadopoulos, Nils Molin, being examples of the former, and Joakim Broden, Attila Dorn, and Jørn Lande as the latter.
@@lagginya7405 I know Brittany and Yannis in addition to Joakim. But the others I had to look up. I've got a few more bands to check out now. Thank You.👍🤘🤘😀
Here are two really fun songs from the 50s and 60s. The first is "Witch Doctor", 1958 performed by Ross Bagdasarian under the stage name David Seville; be sure you get his version as it has been a popular redo by other artists. It saved Liberty Records from bankruptcy It was one of the first pop songs my parents bought me (a 45) for my record player. The second one from the 60s is Wipe Out by The Surfaris in 1963, again be sure you get their version; there is a RUclips video of the Ventures doing it and that maybe the best version with multiple drummers preforming it. Best have your running shoes on as it moves fast. Now if you want a sad love song from 1962 by Dickie Lee “Patches”. It was iconic in it’s day.
Interesting little tidbit about David Draiman, the singer. A woman took her 12 year old son to a Disturbed show for his birthday. DD found about it somehow and brought the kid up on stage to rock out with the band.
The guitar work draws you in and Draiman's voice puts it over the top!!!! Loved this reaction.
David Draiman dives down deep and has some sad stories in his past where he draws that RAW emotion from.
Disturbed if you want to see what they are passionate about try " A Reason To Fight [Official Live Video]"
Pain Redefined by Disturbed is one of my favorites.
I love watching videos of people who check out music they usually don’t listen to. I have branched out and stuff I didn’t think I’d like but It seems to make it on my playlists!
Hey guys. My name is Lumpy from Vegas and I Love your channel. I happen to have a masters in rock history so if you need info on any songs from 95 back to 55, I'm your man. Again, you guys rock. Keep it up.
The instant I heard David Draimon's voice (IIRC it was that Ooo Ah Ah from Down the Sickness during the movie "The One") I instantly fell in love with Disturbed. His voice as much as the awesome musicianship of the other band members, make them one of the greatest bands of recent times.
Another band that's similar to Disturbed - not in sound, so much, but in what a range they can perform - is Shinedown. They have some very serious hard stuff, but I would love to see you react to their Second Chance.
I’d like to see a reaction to some more rocking songs from shinedown-cut the cord or sound of madness come to mind. I love shinedown, they are so versatile
I got a tattoo of INDESTRUCTIBLE on my arm. My favorite song from Disturbed
I had to stop going to a gym because of this song. I was doing a cardio interval, already jogging a good pace when this song came on my headphones. I kept double-tapping the speed increased button every so often until my Pace match that of the tempo. When the song was over, I looked down and saw the speed I climbed to and had to get off the treadmill cuz I couldn't maintain that. The treadmill section went from full to empty, because no one wanted to be near the 260 lb bearded man sprinting 16 mph on the treadmill like he's leading a Viking raid.
As a former member of the U.S. Military I endorse this song directed at our Nation's Enemies...
It was written for us brother it’s an anthem for the military to rally around.
@@brianaguilar3355 My Absolute Favorite Disturbed song...Thank You for your Service Sir...
The music video is awesome! Shows the change in warriors over time.
This song was awesome live...One of the best concerts I've ever been to ✌️
Mine too!!
I tell everybody the same! I was so amped after the show, I was ready to follow them to the next show.
Inside the Fire is hard. I as well recommend Hold on to Memories. Very hart felt song that remembers people in your life.
3:35 David Draiman's from Brooklyn NYC. He literally spits BARRS when he sings. Great reaction, guys 👏🏾
Gonna see Disturbed for the First time in Toledo! I wanna head Down with the Sickness, are you ready and my go to, INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!
One thing I love about Disturbed, is despite their often brutal heaviness their songs often have really powerful positive messages behind them. Their music can energize, motivate, inspire, and just about everything in between.
Sorry about the Super Bowl loss. Look forward to next season!
OMG their in concerts are outstanding.
One of my workout songs when I younger. And once you got past 120kg(264.6 LBS) on the workbench, you actually started to really feel like it. Especially with songs like "The Animal." To quote Scylla from Smite: "I'm a monster!"
Another really hype sound, with smart lyrics is Sabaton. Their lyrical content is all about war throughout history. 'Primo Victoria', 'Uprising', they just did one called 'Christmas Truce' about one Christmas during World War 1, that will have you shook.
disturbed are great in concert ..seen them 4 times from early on years up to now..great every time
Have you heard their version of the Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel. Incredible! Their song Hold onto Memories is beautiful. Has me in tears everytime. The Light is another great song. Fantastic band x
Seeing you two bobbing over this badass song, made me smile. I've seen already people recommending you lots of titles from their discography, so I could only add: you will not regret it.
I just like how Dave be flowing in their songs he damn near be rapping then he just switch back to singing that shit raw cheers from Cleveland
David Draiman, Was classically trained as a cantor in the Jewish religion and that's where his cadence come from.
I see once again Amber is channeling her inner Rocker. Fun to see when you guys both get into a song
Rock and metal, the truest and purest form of music, the manifestation of the souls determination, wrath and indomitable will..... At least to me.
🤘
Disturbed, pretty much is in tune with what's going on. They may sound dark. They are not, listen to more of they're music. It may sound scary, but there's a message to all their songs in the end, they care about people. That's why they are one of my favorite bands.
I was in the Marines and an independent pro wrestler. This was the song I came to the ring to because of the intensity and dominance it conveyed.
Oh, yeah! Love Disturbed......power house ! David Draimen is so diverse , such an interesting life history. An amazing artist!
Well well well Amber the head banger from Amber the side to side. 4 to 6 months ago the look on amber's face would be one of scare and shock. Now it is one of hell ya let's Rock the House. Amazing
Most underrated metal song EVER !!!
hi a Latin father here, on those long soccer and family trips, my two kids when they were teens they introduced me to Disturbed, you have to watch "Remember", "Prayer" or "Awaken" but live! and you will appreciate this guy's powerful voice, keep up the ride.
Skillet's Feel Invincible is good for that, too.
Good luck today. Hope your team gives you some happy moments
Stupify, Droppin' Plates, The Game. Next 3 Disturbed songs to listen to. I think you should also check out Bodies by Drowning Pool.
this is one of my favorite Disturbed songs. This is a must on any work out playlist its so invigorating .. gets you pumped up !!
OMG. When my friends and I would play certain big missions in a game, we would play this song to pump us up. Oh the memories!
Favorite band.
I played this all the time when my son was in Afghanistan hoping that the Marines had truly made him indestructible. Yelling the lyrics helped my anxiety.
His ability to change cadence is incredible! There a great band
You need to see the video that accompanied this song.
Disturbed played this live for the troops during the war.
Imagine that morale boost. 🙌🏻🫶🏻🪖
Yeeesssss!!! One of the reasons this is one of my favorite groups. Love Mike Wengren.🤘🤘
One of the few songs I've ever heard that is lyrically, perfect. A song about absolute determination and inexorable force of will, delivered without sparing a single word.
Definitely check out "The Light" by Disturbed. You will NOT regret it! And DO watch the official video if possible.
That entire album content was requested by American soldiers...and they gave it to them! You should watch the official video...it's AWESOME!
David Draimen said in an interview that this song was meant to be used as a marching cadence for our military
Looks like we discovered 2 more Disturbed Ones here.
Since Amber likes songs that get her hyped, I recommend " Are You Ready".
Are You Ready
One of the underrated Disturbed songs
Also, this was created with the U.S. military in mind. Disturbed made a ton of tours overseas and most (if not all) were completely free and I missed them by legit less than a week. Was really pissed that I missed that.
Disturbed is so good that Stone Cold Steve Austin had them as his entrance theme. "Glass Shaters"
So glad you are finally getting back to some hard rock/ heavy metal! So many groups you haven’t tried yet!!!
Yep, I have this one on my workout Playlist. David Draiman the lead singer was classically trained canter.
I don't always recommend videos for the song in question, but this video is pretty cool.
As for other Disturbed songs, I recommend Stricken, Ten Thousand Fists, and Prayer.
Distrurbed is all about lifting each other up.(datk sometimes - see video for Vengeful one). They are heavily into charity and cancer recovery efforts.
Want a rockin Uplifting song - See “The Light”. Video by Disturbed
Dana says= "You don't wanna know." OMG Amber, he's wearing Bengals e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g, isn't he?! LOL 😎🤣
Jay and Amber. INDESTRUCTIBLE/Disburbed charted at #72 (Billboard Hot 100) in 2008. Check out a couple of their other hits:
INSIDE THE FIRE/Disturbed. This song charted at #73 (Billboard Hot 100) in 2008.
ANOTHER WAY TO DIE/Disturbed. This song charted at #81 (Billboard Hot 100) in 2010.
Enjoy.
This is my military motivational song . The lyrics ring true with the the path we take and our training when in the field
Not only are they extremely gifted musicians, but Disturbed are also lyrical geniuses. This is a definite "pump up" song....but they also have uplifting songs of hope with masterful lyrics. You should check out "The Light", which is a song about not giving up after disaster. And also check out "The Night", which is my all-time personal favorite from the brilliant minds of Disturbed.
L.A is ready!!! Let’s go Rams! Let’s go Dre, Snoop and Kendrick (Mary and Eminem too)!! Happy Super Bowl Sunday RobSquad! 🏈🏈🏈
Metal is about meaning and feeling and almost always relatable.
The Light, A Reason to Fight, Hold Onto the Memories, Ten Thousand Fists in the Air, Land of Confusion, the list goes on. Please check these out.
Into the Fire is extremely deep but very graphic in the video. There is a disclaimer in the beginning. It is about suicide prevention, the lead singer's girlfriend when he much younger killed herself.
This my workout playlist number 1 hahaha
Hope you can add this to the playlist - Bruce Hornsby "That's the way it is." Fantastic piano and a great message.
Hello, Here is a voice from Germany. In the seventies there were a lot of
Good songs of black bands or musicians who had their own rhythm. All the songs true mainstream and made it into the top 10 both in the USA and in Europe, I'm sure that the songs of your generations, and those of your viewers will conclude on enthusiasm.
Hot Chocolate - Emma, Hot Chocolate - Every 1 ‚s a Winner, Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing, BILLY OCEAN - Love really hurts without you, Bell Epoque - Black is Black, Odyssey - Going Back to my Roots, SISTER SLEDGE - Lost in Music
Disturbed is so good live. Check out their live performances.
Disturbed - the sound of silence . its a must
If you like Disturbed then check out Five Finger Death Punch's "Bad Company" and "Blue on Black" with Kenny Wayne Shepard, the blonde blues guitarist.
Try "Deify", "Shout", "Land of Confusion", "Ten Thousand Fists", "Voices", "Stupify", "Meaning of Life".....😀❤
David draiman is one of the best singers in rock history the tricks he can do with his voice.....
I am so proud of this generation understanding music. Music is a feeling it’s a heart it’s love and all our emotions. It doesn’t matter if you like rap, rock, rnb or pop and country. If it makes you feel something then it’s great.
Reminds me of how we’d play “Damage Inc” as loud as possible from our locker room before hitting the ice.
It was intimidating to the other team 😎
Love Disturbed. Their version of Sound of Silence is ridiculous.
Lord luvs ducks you guys did Disturbed this Nanna is proud of you
Both....🎶🤟🎸🎶
Seen them several times. Amazing in concert
