Fox to Denver would be interesting. Jokic is essentially a better version of Sabonis. I don’t think MPJ would be enough to get him to Denver though.
Barnes to Kings isn't actually an issue because you can add the Suns to the deal and just send Nurkic to Kings and Barnes to PHX to make the salaries work. Barnes and Nurkic make the same amount, PHX needs more wing depth and Barnes is a great spot up shooter for them to play backup to KD, and they might even get a second round pick for that deal if they are lucky. That's really not a big deal with the Spurs having like 15 second round draft picks

What is the incentive for the Spurs to pay a bag of assets to get a guy who already signaled to them "I am coming when my deal is up in 2026"? If Fox is that set on playing with Wemby, the best choice for everyone involved including Fox that wants to play for a contender, is to wait until the deal is up or until Sacramento decides to take very little relative to Fox's value. This is where GMs make their money, with patience that pays off. By the time Fox will play for the Spurs they would have 4 more lottery picks on their team than they do now. Then Fox/Wemby/Spurs are locked into a great team with young assets. The level you need to compete with this OKC monster being created. Spurs can't blow this by overpaying for a PG. That's how you build a dynasty

Disagree with this take. Reason why is because magic already have 2 ball dominant players banchero and Franz. We have seen teams make a big 3 numerous times and not work with 3 ball dominant players. And the spurs just no. Just because they got wemby doesn't mean it's a good fit. They are lacking talent outside wemby castle is decent he is a poor efficiency guy tho. They have coaching issues with pop having health issues and pop is just not up to date with the current nba no one is going to the spurs cause pop is there. Best fit is with the rockets because van vleet is expiring contract and we don't have ball dominant players except jalen sometimes he would fit in perfectly

This reminded me of LeMarcus Aldridge many years ago, the only big name FA signing in Spurs' recent history, who was supposed to co-lead the team with Kawhi, but struggled mightily. Of course it wasn't LeMarcus' fault, but it's a reminder that winning a championship is really hard.

Life long Spurs fan here. I LOVE Castle, but he isn't a "win now" player yet. If that is what the Kings really want, this would need to be a multi-team trade with the Spurs using picks to facilitate a player LIKE Ingram/Lavine, etc

Why would he want to play for the spurs?🤔knowing darn well spurs doesn't operate that way by trading for already made stars. I think he and Rich Paul are using Spurs as a smoke screen so that it doesn't look bad at the end. The team he truly wants to go to is very close by trust me.

He'd actually fit better next to DeMar. Is Sac winning a title, no. But they weren't winning one with Fox anyway. And they can probably get 2-3 picks from the Suns...

@@tarunkumar-lk6rg They were actually on a 7 game win streak without him. The Malik Monk / Keon Ellis back court was actually getting work done. Monk seems to be more willing to pass and let the ball go through Sabonis and DeRozan than Fox. The Kings will be fine without him, and this is coming from a Lakers fan, not a sour Kings fan.
