I don't think people understand. Nico's career in Dallas is over. Even if he somehow keeps his job, he won't be able to stay here. Luka is like our adopted son. He came to us as a teenager and we've watched him grow up. This doesn't just go away. This is what happens when a gm or even an owner thinks they're bigger than the fanbase.

Nah, I disagree. Nico and Miriam Adelson better have the best security money can buy. The death threats are real, and if Adelson tries to move the team to Vegas because Texas refuses to legalize gambling, somebody is gonna pop her melon too.
This trade could eventually derail the economic progress of the DFW area, as it is projected to be the third biggest metro in the US by 2040.

The reason these fans are upset has nothing to do with basketball. Anybody who knows basketball knows that this is a better team without an out of shape Luka. A segment of the population lives vicariously through Luka (you can fill in the gap why that is) and are more emotionally attached to that mental illness for lack of a better word that winning. Find an ownership group you like and root for that team, just because the logo says Mavs it's not the same team. Same thing I've had to transition from the millers owning the Utah Jazz to the Smiths. Or when the Vikings sold to the wilfs. If either of them did the equivalent of the Luka thing after they bought i would have actively rooted against them until new ownership. The Vikings previous owner did trade Randy Moss for almost nothing but then sold the team to the wilfs a few months later so I had nowhere to put my anger 😅
