They dream of the glory days in the 17th and 18th centuries when Jews and other religious minorities were massacred by the political elite. They want to return to a time when the only way to fight oppression was with bullets and bodies, and they want to be the oppressors.
It's pretty common for conservative Christketeers to redefine freedom in such a way that a person is not considered free or capable of making moral choices unless they identify as a born again Christian. Thus, depriving everybody else of rights and property is not considered tyrannical by these rightwing religious maniacs.
I had to laugh at the manifesto saying "no communism," then turning around and outlining how to distribute the spoils among everyone (including noncombatants) equally, with no one receiving more than their fair share. The irony is strong with this one.
Guys like Shea only want the appearance of equality for the grunts and rubes in the beginning, to recruit them. The most valuable stuff would not be included in any communal pot to be divided up. The best would be kept for the top guys because it would be God's will as they will be lead by God's spirit in the matter.

And it is clear they seek to harm people. That manifesto is the smoking gun. The US gov has to wake up to what it has allowed to be bred within their borders. But I'm betting a majority of conservatives already know. It is after all the groups of Tim McVay's who Tr*mp took the heat off by putting his own guy at the head of the FBI. Hate crime rose 300% in the months following Comey's sacking. Even when the post office general was changed that caused a whole load of issues. Just FYI: Matt Shea was the pastor of Ken Peters' church (incl the Church at Planned Parenthood) before quitting and forming his own church. Ken Peters moved to Tennesse to form the Patriot Church after meeting and becoming buddies with Greg Locke - Thousands of miles and only two degrees of separation.
Has Shea forgotten the violent lives that many young men in the last decade+ had lived before they wrote their manifestos? Has he forgotten about whom those people had hurt before their own brutal demises?

This Matt Shea fella is terrifying in his theocratic depravity. He's like some sort of character in "The Twilight Zone" (original series) -- like one of those people who don't even need to wear funky Halloween masks to look like caricatures, because they are ALREADY caricatures!
@@littleredpony6868 -- The episode, and I don't remember the name of it, in which a wealthy elderly (and probably physically sick) man, about to die, verbally condemned his heirs by stating that Without Wearing Masks they were already caricatures. The dying man had them all come and have a party while he was evidently having his last few hours of life. Naturally, he chose to wear a Death's Head mask, while the others wore other masks, all of those masks being physical caricatures. The rule of the party was that nobody is to take their mask off until midnight. (Sorry, a spoiler here.) Eventually the clock struck twelve, and then all the heirs took off their masks, masks that gave them faces to match their personalities. The dying man had said to his heirs that without wearing cartoonish masks they were already caricatures, and that's the similarity I see with Matt Shea: without even wearing a crazy-looking mask, Matt Shea is already a caricature.

The original Constitution of the United States that was ratified in 1789 had only ONE REFERENCE TO RELIGION: [Article 6] No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any Office or Public Trust under the United States. The de facto motto of the United States, adopted as part of the Great Seal of the U.S. by an Act of Congress in 1782, was E. Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One). Congress changed it 174 years later (1956) to "In God We Trust". The ORIGINAL 'Pledge of Allegiance' was written in 1892 by Baptist Minister Francis Bellamy who DID NOT INCLUDE the words "Under God". Those were added by Congress 62 year later (1954). The U.S. didn't issue Paper Currency until 1861, & 'In God We Trust' didn't appear on it for 96 years (1957). “As the government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian Religion" ~ Treaty of Tripoli; initiated under President George Washington, 1796, signed into law by President John Adams, 1797, ratified unanimously by the Senate, 1797, published in full in all 13 states, with no record of complaint or dissent. These people are so far away from reality. I had a run in with these people on one of my favorite games, VRChat. The guy came into our world when we were all having fun and literally there was no conflict…and he banned my friend I had made there to prove his authority over the room. I didn’t even have a chance to add them to my friend’s list. The reason for the kick was because my friend had said a “swear word”. I was filled with flashbacks of my time being trapped in that cult. I wanted to lash out at him in anger but I kept my mouth shut because I knew that you can’t talk or reason with these individuals. The guy left and said he left his moderator in the room so “we’d better behave and not swear.” As soon as he left his “moderator”, which was a child… proceeded to quietly sing an explicit song to themselves with the same word that he had kicked my friend for earlier. It’s reasons like this that I won’t return to that horrible cult, and I feel so bad for the children that man is indoctrinating and brainwashing on VRChat. Having suffered the abuses of the pentecostal cult growing up, every preacher was a Matt Shea. As a little kid I was terrified of the thought of being forced to join and fight in "the lord's army". I never felt any love at their gatherings, 3 times a week minimum, only hatred and what they'd consider evil. You have to play along with their psychotic rituals, ie baptism in water and holy spirit (speaking in tongues, slain in the spirit). My choice was fake it or suffer the abuses. Raising their hands, I never put connection between it and nazi salute but thinking about it, it's actually the same. I always thought it was creepy, always felt uncomfortable when feeling forced to play along with it. And they all speak to their invisible creature with multiple personalities (its the father, son, and their ghost rolled into one) , they swear it speaks back to them (many insisting in an audible voice). Can we say schizophrenia. They're all text book cases. Makes sense why they strongly discourage any mental therapy. They might cure you. Instead only lean on your brothers and sisters of the cult. It's been 37 years since I've been. Through family I know they're more radical now. They believe their god gives them the right to be judge, juror, and executioner. If someone refuses their brainwashing, they literally believe they are required to kill that person on god's behalf. The all powerful doesn't seem to have the power to do anything for himself.

I always find it amusing that these people, who call themselves Christians, are about 180 degrees away from what actual Christianity is. In fact, if you have read the book of revelation, where they talk about what the false prophets and the anti christ do, they fit more into that category. It’s actually pretty funny. As long as they don’t gain enough power to actually do anything.
I love how they twist & confound a book of the Bible that was never intended to be taken literally in the first place, and it's prophesies many of which were already fulfilled by A.D. 70 before it was even connonized!

Then Shea started his own church in Spokane, On Fire Ministries. I'm glad he's no longer an elected official, but his dominionist ideas aren't going away, unfortunately.
Regarding the term "national socialism". "Social" is a root word used in various ways in different political and social contexts. The usual political association ("socialism") is the *social organization and unity* of workers specifically. But it can also be used in different ways, such as national socialism - unity and organization based on pride for one's nation (and "race"). These are two different political systems, the first characteristically known for being left-leaning and the other for far-right, with vastly different philosophies, yet many seem to think that national socialism is a variant of 'the normal' socialism.

Thank you Owen for using "psychotic" in the proper context. Far too many people mistake sociopathy and psychotic. This man is psychotic. He actually believes his bullshit. A sociopath does not.
Psychotic is more of an adjective that describes symptoms of a mental illness. I think that OCPD is psychotic because it's an obsession with an ideal "self" that is so consuming that it severely decreases the quality of life. So, I disagree that this is the "proper" context, but I agree that language is very limited (especially psychology vernacular), and it's difficult to really put a label on something that we would prefer to not even know about in the first place.
“Socialist” in National Socialists in the party's conspicuous use of the term "socialist" - which refers to a political system normally plotted on the far-left end of the ideological spectrum

These people DO NOT believe that all people in the world are "God's children." They believe that all people in the world are Gods CREATURES, but not the children. God's children in their eyes (ex-evangelical here, even in the kinder, softer country Baptist church I went to)...people become children of God when they accept Jesus into their hearts and get saved (which generally means believing a specific set of things that they prescribe). In other words, they see themselves as the children of God and everyone else as mere creatures if they are being generous, and enemies of God if they are not being generous. So believing that "God does not fail his children" does fall in line - they believe that God has their backs, screw everyone else. (And of course, the moment people in the club have any kinds of bad things happen to them, that's just "trails of faith," "tests" or possibly the victim-blaming "You don't have enough faith / you must be sinning" thing going on). In their eyes, God didn't fail Africa, because Africa is full of pagans (even if it's not, but do you think they consider Christian populations in other parts of the world, especially among people who don't look like them legit)?

They want a Theocracy, prohibition, sex laws, et. al
They dream of the glory days in the 17th and 18th centuries when Jews and other religious minorities were massacred by the political elite. They want to return to a time when the only way to fight oppression was with bullets and bodies, and they want to be the oppressors.
They know it because they are anti-freedom. Their religion must be in control of everything.
It’s privileges for me, obligations for you
It's pretty common for conservative Christketeers to redefine freedom in such a way that a person is not considered free or capable of making moral choices unless they identify as a born again Christian.

Guys like Shea only want the appearance of equality for the grunts and rubes in the beginning, to recruit them. The most valuable stuff would not be included in any communal pot to be divided up. I wouldn't want to invite the idea of executing these people but I think you are right. We know what the US Christian fanatics are capable of doing; even to their own. And at the time there was a rise in terror postal devices.🤔
Unfortunately, they have found a figurehead in Tr*mp. So whatever happens to him it will be used as a lightning rod to cause havoc. Something bad is going to happen if internal security services get apathetic.
Imagine if an imam wrote a pamphlet titled, "A Guide to Quranic Warfare" and tried to set up an Islamic militia group by recruiting teenage boys, after having publicly advocated for an Islamic takeover of the USA. Would this story have gotten more media attention in that case?
Does Maga care that you make that comparison? 🤔 I doubt it. All they seem to care about is part of the second amendment, and money. The Mardi Gras episode?

I always thought it was creepy, always felt uncomfortable when feeling forced to play along with it. And they all speak to their invisible creature with multiple personalities (its the father, son, and their ghost rolled into one) , they swear it speaks back to them (many insisting in an audible voice). Regarding the term "national socialism". "Social" is a root word used in various ways in different political and social contexts. The usual political association ("socialism") is the *social organization and unity* of workers specifically. Once again they are completely at odds with what the poor, Rabbi from Nazareth preached. "Render unto Cesar the things that are Cesar's" he replied when a person complained about taxes. JC never go involved with politics promising a heavenly reward not one on earth. JC got mad when Peter (?) cut off a soldiers ear when they arrested JC in Gethsemane. JC put the soldiers ear back on and told him to go in peace. WTF are these people? They're not Christian in any form preached by their prophet.
that Nz salut is actually how you pray to people in modern protestant church ... sometime one hand, sometime two hand ... my church (in Asia) also did the same thing ... almost all church (except Catholic) did that salute when we praying or blessing people ... its like Jedi force, you transfer your power from your palms
There must be lots of screws because you always find the nuts 😂thanks for your work
An excellent post. Many thanks.
Lot of gullible people in this world.
A long time ago, I wound up blocking / unfriending a friend's mother on Facebook. The actual trigger was the mother having a very dumb fight with my friend on one of my threads that had gotten way off topic, but I was looking for an excuse to ditch. This person was a very conservative Catholic who liked coming to my page to respond to lefty stuff and especially Progressive Christian things that I posted / shared with her paranoia about Sharia Law. Absolutely anything about immigration or about the U.S. having fair relations with other countries or Muslims just...existing... in the U.S. was met with this.
And yet, she was the kind who pretty much advocated for the U.S. "following God" (a Trumpist) and it's like... okay how many people pretty much think that what amounts to the same thing is OKAY if it's Christian (TM)? I honestly don't see a difference.
I don't understand why this guy is allowed to just walk around when he's clearly a danger to others
Love the content and watch all your videos. As someone from the Pacific NW I got a chuckle out of your Spokane pronunciation. Just an FYI it's pronounced :Spoe - can.
Yes! Puyallup raised, currently living in Tacoma. I winced with every "spo-cane" pronunciation.
Just moved to KCMO from Spokane and NOBODY knows what the hell I’m talking about
@@seanswade8699 try being from Puyallup and moving out of state. 😂
Puyallup gets mispronounced even by people around there. 😀
I hear “poo ya lup” a lot
I would say that as a christian we dont all claim these people, but i feel like i say that every video now. These people are insane. I hope the church heals and stops using faith to justify fascism someday.
Why are you a Christian? The Bible is a complete mess
U can justify anything using faith!
@@wtfjesus8251 not really. Justifying fascism through Christianity requires an extreme misinterpretation of the Bible. Soren Kierkegaard talked a lot about it in his book, "The Attack on Christendom." Christianity ceases to be authentic when it becomes about the authority of the church/political power/social issues instead of the relationship between man and God. The people in this video are going to hell, and anyone who truly cares about their faith can see that.
@@pankace3296 : Really really, give me one example that you can't take on faith as truth!
Example: you can take it on "faith" that a dark-skinned person is stupider than a white one, right?!
@@pankace3296 the problem is the Bible can an is used to justify anything a Christian does..there are over 35000 different organized religious sects of Christianity that all interpret it differently..most of them believe ONLY their sect will go to heaven. Most also have countless traditions, rules , dogma, ect that are not even in the Bible
You literally claim "people is this video are going to hell" yet according to most sects all they have to do is be sorry and ask forgiveness and they will go to heaven...yet there is no evidence of heaven, no evid3nce of hell....and I think it says something about not judging others...like claiming they are going to hell....
Religion is just a nonsensical way of thinking. It's archaic and atrocious and the whole concept is designed to exploit people out of their life for the benefit of those in power and ALL TEXTS WRITTEN BY MAN. Read the book of Job and tell me the character of God is anythkng but a psycho. Christianity is 3 gospels that are just interpretations of the other gospel written over a century later. Newspapers today can't hit simple facts correct even with all the tech we have and your telling Me that a book that was copied 1 at a time for 1000 years didn't change many times? I've heard people claim that "god wouldn't allow work done in his name to change" but there's plenty of sex abuse victims that were told by clergy in a church that "god" wanted them to be abused. I could go on for days about all the absurdities and geographical and historical inaccuracies in the Bible to render it less factual than modern fiction..but the entire religion is based on pretending it's 100% accurate and claiming it's believed. The hoops people will jump through to make themselves believe it have contributed to many horrible events that continue to this very day.. The whole concept that 1 book from 2000 years ago after at least 190000 years of human civilization and all the books written before it and alongside it are all wrong but it's right despite all its easy to identify errors that you can watch days of videos on RUclips about are an expression of cultural superiority and in opinion are just like Faux theories of racial superiority or Nationalism. It only divides humanity, even those that accept that particular book...and people will do anything to prove "their side" is right and even the book itself justifies horrible things in its name with unverifiable beliefs unlike science which is actually testable, measurable, predictable fundamentals and data that doesn't change based on what someone 2000 years ago thought
I agree! That is IN-f'n-SANE. Do they NOT KNOW that it's wrong and bad and tyrannical to be forceful, aggressive and obnoxiously intrusive?
I really appreciate your channel
“Socialist” in National Socialists in the party's conspicuous use of the term "socialist" - which refers to a political system normally plotted on the far-left end of the ideological spectrum
Right Wing fascists usually subvert positive words into insults or use them as shields to confuse people to cover their own crimes
The "4 things for a holy army" section sounds like some Taliban manual.
The brain does converse between the 2 hemispheres. Those with weaker minds think they are being spoken to.
Okay, I just want to know about that girl rocking around in the background. She reminds me of a demonic doll from a horror movie.
I saw her and I thought "abused person." Someone's young wife or daughter who has been so conditioned that it's all she knows how to do and it's a nervous tic that looks like worship to the crowd.
Has anyone told the clown who wrote the manifesto that armies don't need cannon fodder these days? They need intelligent, well-motivated, multi-skilled soldiers (and there are plenty of roles for females). It's definitely a case of quality and not quantity.
I doubt if any of his flock would qualify as being intelligent.
I’m literally Galvatron, leader of the Decepticons! And even I think this dudes a nutcase.
I think most people would agree they’d rather have me take over the Earth than this lunatics interpretation of God.
So, this goober's "god" does nothing but go around and 'transforn nations'?!?

15:15 given the Crusades track record i don't think you should be all the worried
Considering all of the civilian noncombatants who were r@ped, robbed, tortured and murdered by the Crusaders, maybe we should all be more concerned about the "Deus Vult" crowd.
How, in the name of God, do people go down these holes? While promoting hate crimes??? It baffles me to no end...
God is definitely going to have to step in and personally explain WTF he actually wants done in his name. 👍😳👍

I am from Greece and indeed, here is kind of awful for a lot of people
Just the fact that they took the time to draw up how to fight a war, shows how unenlightened they are.
An enlightened person would spend their time finding ways to NOT go to war.
Really, people have been fighting wars throughout history, and where has it gotten us? Don’t you think it’s about time we tried something else?
This is ridiculous! Especially since Christianity has never yet agreed on doctrine. Do they really think that they’re all going to agree on everything? They are inadvertently taking their own freedoms away.
This crap has never turned out well. And the fact that they don’t know this, shows how ignorant they are.
Of course they're ignorant. Most of them were either homeschooled or indoctrinated in a Christian private school, so I doubt they've ever learned about the many atrocities that Christians have perpetrated against each other despite believing in the same God. The Thirty Years War was still fresh in society's minds when the Constitution was written, but how many Americans could tell you anything about that conflict now without Googling it?
In some evangelical groups, raising your arms like that is common during prayer or praise and worship songs. It's is, or was, usually both arms.
But, admittedly that information is decades old.
I cannot stress enough the dangers of all Abrahamic ideologies and those who are susceptible to mental illness. It only makes their delusions worse. Eeesh I hope this dude is open to de-programing 😢
@taylormade9971 except Judaism for the most part. Jews don’t believe that they hear God talking to them all the time and Judaisms is not a proselytizing religion so they don’t want to convert anyone to it and aren’t trying to dominate everyone. Judaism makes you humble and give lots to charity - all the donations to hospitals, schools and universities, third world
Yeah, Matt Shea is still active in Spokane, the city in question and where I live. Mayor Nadine used to be a TV anchor. Also, the "e" in the word "Spokane" is silent.
