I had a silver 79 Porsche Turbo for 32 years. The 75 was a smaller 3 liter non-intercooled. Its formidable/infamous 3.3 liter came out in 78. You can see there is no box under the tail which housed the intercooler.

Interesting order - BMW 20002 turbo followed by the Mercedes 300 SL. Here we have a price difference of roughly 1.5 Mio Euros.
