this was actually a bit confusing for me, but I went over your video several times, kept stopping it, so I can make adjustments on my manticore, and I finally got it where I want it! Again, thanks so much for your instructive videos! 👍
I've watched a few of your videos now and I appreciate them. I just got a manticore after using a bounty hunter tracker 4 for a few years. This machine is insane.
I like the fact that the machine reports the actual tone pitch as you adjust it......I think if I made a coin program, I'd use one single high tone pitch for all the targets and discrimate out the remaining 4 zones / notches you do not want to hear......I'm glad you're my friend so you can set up my machine
Great video brother! I am still figuring out the Manticore and has only poked around in my yard for an hour or two with it. The snow is finally gone around here so I'm itching to get out and their stereo so far has been the easiest one to follow along with. My channel will now be subscribing to your Channel!
Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for showing how to navigate the different detectors. Definitely helps. The Digstock in NC? My husband and I are going.
The thing I like about my etrac is I can hear the difference in a diver coins vs a clad. The silver has a higher sounding tone and clad is slightly calmer. Can you do that on here with silver vs clad? Been on the etrac 15 years.
As always, very good video Scott! Two questions for you, are you having any problems with the iron falsing that we have been hearing about? And if so, how have you been working around it? Maybe you have a video out addressing this that I haven't seen yet? Personally I will not be hunting in sites that are riddled in iron like we see in some of CB vids, but more on fresh water beaches, parks, and private property, I'm from Iowa. Thank you sir!
Hi Kenny I'm aware of the issues others are having but I'm not having the same results. Probably due to my hunting conditions I have dug plenty of targets where I could see multiple targets like nails and then a coin. I think I actually have it recorded on one of my videos. I know some are struggling but don't get me wrong, I have dug my fair share of nails but most of the time I will tell myself that the signal is iffy and I'll dig it anyway to learn the nuances of the machine which I think is really the key to the Manticore.
You can save off 1 for each of the search modes and you can also create your ferrous settings as well. But you have to save them as a favorite. Its all spelled out in the manual www.minelab.com/__files/f/494367/4901-0428-1%20Inst%20Manual,%20Manticore%20EN.pdf

Anything for the #1 fanboy
@@MentalMetal lol
Scott hope you are well. Just got my Manticore. A lot to unpack for sure! Thx for the vids!
After some time, you will enjoy. Try to stay in all metal and learn the tones vs watching the 2D screen.
Great video, entire series on the manticore is excellent.
Glad you like them!
Just what i was trying to figure out cheers mate 😊
No problem 👍
I get mine tomorrow. Thanks for doing these videos Scott.
Good luck!
Thanks! Best part was the reset button if you screw up :)
Yes they made that part a lot easier than doing a factory reset.

Great vid.
Thanks!
Would like to hear how it changes the tones.

Yes you can change the pitch of the tone and make it whatever you want it to sound like.

No problem
I have Volume set to 20. The 5-Tone all set to 25. But when using Pin Point Mode it blasts my ears! Is my brand new Manticore defective?
Thanks Again!!
Any time!
How many custom programs can you store?
