There are many female athletes way before her and to make such a statement is really disrespectful. Merlene Ottey is one of the most coveted and still runs to date. So no I am not jealous I just don’t agree. Unless the person that made the statement is a youngin and doesn’t know much about Track and Field. There are/were many before her that set the tone pace and placed Jamaica on the map when it came to track and field.✌️
