Hi, my name is Abdullah Khan and I’m going to be a Year 12 A-Level Student who makes educational videos that aim to help students achieve their best in any global exam.

CONGRATTSS ABDULLAH!!! Your results are amazing, honestly be proud. 9s in both English subjects is insanely difficult to get so genuinely, you smashed it. What I’ve realised, a year on after results, is that GCSE results don’t matter at all. As long as you manage to secure your place in sixth form, college, whatever, nothing else matters. It will feel important for a week or so but trust me, when you get into year 12, nobody cares about GCSE results anymore and the whole pace of a levels is something completely different and requires quite a unique list of strengths that don’t really come from GCSE. So you’re in a really good position and, when you look back at this day in a few months time, you might even find that the grade in computer science was for the best, and your change in career path might have been essential to doing well in the future. Remember, everything that happens is always for a reason and so take your results lightly and make sure to smash your a-levels!! Once again, congrats. You’re in a really fortunate position compared to a lot of people.
Also bio chem maths is a superb trio of a levels, it’ll be tough but super interesting and rewarding

Hi Abdullah. I’m in a similar situation to you , got many 9s and 8s but failed one gcse subject at grade 3. But i am upset but if I look at my results the 9s and 8s really motivate me so don’t let one gcse let you down. We all have a weakness. Celebrate your achievement 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Well done man, I was literally in the exact same position as you last year. Got similar results to you in all subjects except computer science in which I also got a 5. I was extremely confused too but 1 year on I realised that it doesn’t make a difference at all!
You did great. Lots of people in my school really struggled with computer science. I think they were saying that paper 2 was really hard. You have nothing to worry about. Congratulations, you did great.
Well done on your results Abdullah, you did extremely amazing, they were almost a lot better than mine, i got mostly 6’s and 7’s in my exams, and i’m doing maths, biology and chemistry for alevels.

As much as you may feel gutted from your comp sci result dont let that determine your career path. I got a result in comp sci last year that i didnt expect but i was still eager to do it for a level and pursue it at uni. going into y13 now it's not that different from gcse. Even the best people mess up in the final exams but we move :)

Hello There. In life not everything might go as planned because sometimes if you don’t get what you want, that must mean some greater opportunities are there waiting for you. There are people who weren’t even the best with academics but they make it in life even better than some people who may have even the best grades. I believe that you could even do better in your A levels and future exams you take even to your amazement. Congratulations on your results!!!! Afterall, you put all your efforts and did the best you could and believe it, seriously, there is something even more better in store for you !!!!

Yes these GCSEs were tough. I have been following your videos for a while and was excited to see you're results video even if these grades are worse than what you wanted, this channel is just a small snippet that shows your commitment and perseverance throughout the GCSE process. To be honest computer science is probably the one subject I don’t really care if I pass or fail as my teacher is terrible and I don’t really like the subject that much… everything else hoping for at least 6s and 7s, maybe 8s in Maths and Geography as I plan to do them at A-Level. Same with me bro. In our first and second set of mocks I got an 8 in biology. I was predicted an 8 too and my bio teacher said i could get a 9. Plus all my friends knew I was the best at bio out of all of us. Well I found out that i got a 6 in bio on results day. That meant that I couldn't do biology at the 6th form I wanted to go to and now im prolly staying at my schools 6th form. Oh well everything happens for a good reason. I recommend going to a sixth form or even college near you, if you're not looking to go oxbridge it doesnt matter where u go!!
really? im in the same situation. my bio mock grades where amazing but this year i got a 6. i thought i wouldnt be able to take bio as an a level at my first choice college but i was actually! (chem and physics grades came in clutch for that) If you do like bio please dont lose your passion for it

Subhannallah abdullah, i watched your revision tips since start of y10 to 11 and also got some pretty good results (7/8s), similar to you, i got a 5 but in french oof. unironically ended up going down medicine route too. Im going to be doing A level bio, chem and physics, allah willing we both smash this route of our life too, inshallah.

Bro you did amazing; I did my gcses 2 years ago and got 4 9s 5 8s and 1 4 in Spanish (lol) and I'm going to Cambridge next year - that one 5 in CompSci will NOT Hold u back in any way and you should be proud of ur other results
you did amazing mashallah!! and i had a similar situation that i didnt know if i should take the medicine or CS path bc both are facisinating but ended up going with with med too bc of my CS grade.
MashaAllah great results. One odd result does not matter as long as you get into your chosen field. How you put these grades into practice is what matters the most now. Focus your energy on sciences and get into medicine, no point looking back, keep moving forward time will fly by.

congrats u worked so hard to get those top grades !!! i’m very disappointed with my results though cos i only revised like night before for my exams and didn’t even revise for some… all i did was pray to god that i get some decent grades. i got 6 english lang 2 marks off 7, 8 english lit, 8 maths, 9 bio 8 chem 4 marks off 9, 8 physics 8 geo 3 french 6 business, L2D sports studies. i’m really disappointed cos if i just revised even 1 week before the exams or during the half term break instead of only night before or not being bothered, i could’ve easily got 9s… except french i would’ve still failed lol. just gotta acc put in the effort now for A levels so hopefully i get A*s

Should be proud of yourself! My son got worse results 3 years ago and he is now at Oxford University. So don’t worry about it too much

@@M_Noumaan_Akhtar 1 grade 6, 1 grade 7, 5 grade 8, and 3 grade 9. His A levels, he got 3 grade A*, and grade A for EPQ. He is reading History at Oxford University. Going into year 2 next month. With your grades you should think about Oxbridge.

Abdullah, with those grades you can do anything for a level bc many people focus on one partucular subject, sure you got a low grade in cs, but literally the rest of your grades were peaking and that is what matters the most

You did so well that would definitely be a dream for me and obviously for other students! i’m going into year 11 and my yr 10 mocks were really bad 😭 i failed a few subjects and the rest i barely passed w a low 4 do you think i’ll be able to get 8s in my actual gcses if i try to work hard revising whilst also keeping a social life somewhat

Mate, I was predicted an 8 in lit and got a 5 1 off 6! Then a 9 in business and got a 6 barely like 4 marks over. Don't worry about 1 "bad" grade when I heard paper 2 was INSANE!
Btw, you saying about never thinking about medicine and becoming a doctor is the same for me, I realised I have the potential to become a pilot and so that's what I'm pursuing now!

It’s not that stressful in yr9 trust it’s gets harder at the end of yr10/ start of yr11
Abdullah you did AMAZING at your GCSEs I have a question regarding on how you revised for tour GCSE's in specific of all of them especially on English,sciences cause I find I'm smart at them but I get like a 5/6 when pen on paper....I'm starting Year 11 in September btw.

Mashallah! Mashallah! I love you're confidence to show you're results. Don't worry, my whole class failed computer science, I got the highest score which was just an 8 literally not one got a 9 and revise like LOTS and still couldn't get it. Trust me they ruined the grade boundaries this year for most people, most people got their higher grades lowered. I am impressed by how many 9s you got with these rough grade boundaries. That is impressive! Also keep in mind you did 11 GCSEs! The minimum is only 9. I believe you will able to smash your future in medicine!

Bro u still did amazing I got a 6 in maths 1 mark off a 7 and I was also gutted but when u look at the reest of the 7s 8s and 9s it doesn't really matter that much sure I'll remark it but u should still be really proud and happy of building up the habits to work hard and these habits is what u should take into your a levels and the rest of your life even.

honestly I feel the same ab computer science I got a 6 in it (ocr) it was above the average in my class but that 6 didn’t look too great next to all my As so I also felt a bit sad too 😭

In my igcse results i got 3 8’s in bio chem phy
6 in math (I didn’t study maths so am happy)
English as a second language A
Ict (0417) B, 1 mark off an A
And 2 marks off an A in another subject
Am gonna remark the ict and will reset the other subject as am pretty much free next year

Im a mum who followed all the news about the OCR paper 2 fiasco for computer science. My daughter took 12 gcse was predicted an 8 at CS and ended up one mark off a grade 7, because of the coding paper... you are not alone, dear love. Keep your chin up and consider getting a re-mark, if youre close to the next grade up xx

Got many 9s including cs but ended up getting a 6 in Latin, it happens and I’m fine with it because I’m not going to do Latin ever and found it boring
