read on gamespot, that your team project "goldeneye 25" fan made game is c&d by mgm... man that sucks. hopefully your "spies don't die" is close as good as goldeneye on the nintendo 64 and improved what you team did. i would definitely buy on the "switch", if possible add 8 player multiplayer on a very small map without auto aim and add online if you could, but offline with bots should be good.
How is your Ai coming along Ben? have you had any problems with spawning or path finding? also what has been the most challenging/time consuming Level to recreate?
ohh and one other thing is Ourumovs briefcase in Silo going to have any impact/do anything this time around? seems a shame to leave out a extra unused detail like that since Rare never managed to use it, would be fun if the Key unlocked a secret bonus area or mission : )
AI is coming along pretty well. In a few months it should be at about the level of the original game. Though honestly I'd like to push it further and make the GE25 AI better than the original AI. Sometimes the game stutters when the AI tries to find a new point to go to but I have some ideas on how to fix that. I think Cradle is the hardest level to recreate. You have this huge open space with a lot of geometry that always needs to be rendered. It presents problems for both the frame rate and the gameplay.
yes that makes sense in terms of Cradle, hopefully you can get the fps to behave as well as you can. great to hear your AI is coming along nicely and agreed to bump them up so that it will give the Speed Run Community something new to chew on in terms of difficulty : )
No. The rights default to the movie owners and they don't take down fan projects like GE25. That's why other James Bond fan projects such as GoldenEye: Source and Goldfinger 64 still exist.

I can't wait for this game. I played the heck out that game on n-64 so much, that I had to buy a second cartridge back then.

Hey, howd the levels going, and about the cheat unlocking, any ideas so far?
Things are going well! I haven't gotten to the unlocking cheats part yet, still focused on more basic stuff.
How do you play ? On a pc ? Wich emulator and do you have a link how to please ?
