    The way the Burgundian Succession works in EU4 isn't very historical. Burgundy was legally a subject of France, even as powerful as the Duke was, and when Charles the Bold died with no heir there was a scramble to secure it's land. Mary of Burgundy was unmarried and whomever was chosen to marry her had claim to all of Burgundy. When she selected the Hapsburgs it started war between France and Austria. France secured some of Burgundy's land in Burgundy proper while Austria secured the rest including the low countries. The Spanish came later as the Hapsburg realm was split in order to manage it better. The low countries were administered by Spain while Austria dealt with the HRE. So even though they were called the Spanish Netherlands, Spain itself had nothing to do with the succession crisis.

    1) no military access wastes diplo slot
    2)fix main menu button.
    3) You can make anything during the war, it just costs twice more money or twice less efficient. I never exit wars, itis such a BS you have to stop all your wars for 1 day, so you could momentarily stack up absolutism from autonomies, because game gives you no control of nation during war.
    4)No dipomats limit or make a special building like in stellaris for infinite diplomats. Waiting for 6 diplomats to come back from ocean for 120 days as Inca is extremely interesting ( when in real life it would take about month), but I have infinite money and half of the world, Im sure I can hire more than 6 dudes to manage my countries' external politics.
    5)Why I have to fight my enemies rebels, again? Let me befriend those guys, we have common enemy, Im even ready to support their revolution. It is such an obscure situation when borders change under rebel army stack and rebels try to go home through your country and stack wipe your 1k armies, because they asked for a route home too intensevely😂
    6) Reduce rebels amount by 50 times. I cant have attacking Sweden with 10k army, but they Swedensplode in my face with 90k noble rebels I have to not get stackwipe from. This is such irritating mincrogring.
    7)allow to destroy buildings in colonies, add liberty desire or whatever, I dont care. I cant stand not being able to build fort in Panama, because Columbia governer is sure the fate of the universe depends on church and courthouse he built in there.
    Add ability to join their every war. Let me send them armies, make them controllable for gods sake

    • @DaGaJbmKojJe
      @DaGaJbmKojJe 8 дней назад +1

      If your opinion with a colonial nation is high enough you can already join any war they have, also you can already support rebels so you don't fight against them durning war and they become your ally if you help them enforce their demands

    • @daiday3191
      @daiday3191 8 дней назад

      @@DaGaJbmKojJe why in the world I need to support rebels, whos land I dont need to keep their army from suiciding into me? Adding ability to simply ally or declare neutrality to rebels makes way more sense. If my army goes through random neutral country their rebels literally still attack me. do I need to support rebels in every country I go through?

    Tbf with razing, there are also less people. You burned their land to the ground, they're gunna be less happy with you, but there's also less of them and they're weaker because you just burned their houses. So if anything, it shouldn't affect the cost. Atm still worth since you get the points so effectively the cost is reduced because you'll likely get some admin power but its less so. Do that, bump the devestation from it up a bit and its more balanced for EU4. EU5 iiis just so radically different in that doing so would be literally killing pops and pillaging infrastructure plus "no mana" so yk.

    What about ccr being tied to the unrest of the province? So that heretic/heathen religious would be more expensive and take longer, also razing could increase unrest by a lot and that would help with the horde problem.
    Also autonomy could be a factor, maybe they could add a little "add autonomy" button to the coring screen so that when the province is cored is stays within a high autonomy for longer

    To Dismantling HRE - why going against electors - the fact that someone elects does not mean he wants HRE to continue - he was just historically electors. There should be different mechanics - based on EG amount of imperial authority for example (as it is mechanic that discribes how supported are you in creating policies). But then Imperial authority should not be the resource to be consumed to push reforms, but only mechanic that says how supported your push would be

    They did this already and it did not work. You see you "fixing" the game is other players nerfing aspects they enjoy. DDRjake was the biggest euiv streamer at the time. Jake got hired and had input into the game for several years. His time there was heavily criticized by people like florry that hated the direction the game was going in. Jake left Paradox and to this day hasn't streamed euiv since. There is no fixing the game when you, me and everyone else has bias to how it should be played.

    One amazing suggestion that Lemon Cake had is to let an ai control selected armies in the same way vassals do.
    I think it would greatly reduce late-game burnout, as it’s not incredibly fun trying to win wars where you and the two or three other major countries essentially have unlimited money and manpower to burn and you end up in situation where you don’t care enough to finish the game because it’s basically turned into crossing your fingers that your sieges finish faster than the ai’s.

  • @starliaghtsz8400
    @starliaghtsz8400 8 дней назад

    couple things id like to add:
    1- independant of what you said about burgundy, i think specifically france or any nation that had a royal marriage with burgundy should get the option to "challenge the inheritance" where they declare an offensive restoration of union war against burgundy and her new overlord, that way you dont HAVE to bird, you still can if you dont wanna fight it, but it kinda gives you the option to play legimiately and still get burgundy even if rng didnt bless you that day (imagine youre france, austria gets the inheritance and youre declaring an offensive war against austria and her new burgundy PU)
    2- razing is SO good, it would absolutely be worth it even if it just reduced the developpement and nothing else, youd still raze every province maybe with certain exceptions (manchu banners come to mind), think concentrating developpement, youre actively losing dev but you still do it everytime you can
    3- i think i said this on stream when we talked about it too, but i think the main problem with admin and dip ideas isnt necessarily the ccr and pwc it has, but how accessible it is otherwise, and thus how easy it is to stack, think monuments, think ideas giving like 25% ccr randomly, monuments that give both. Since every point of a negative stacking modifier becomes better the more you already have of said modifier, now imagine no idea gave more than 15% ccr, hinduism instead of 20% gave 10%, and you nerfed adaptability to say 15% or 20%, then the max ccr you could get is like 50 which very importantly does NOT let you ignore overextension (when you have 75% you core in 9 months and nothing will rise up). Like back in the day before monuments these modifiers were not nearly as broken, that extra 15% or 20% you can get for essentialyl doing nothing really tipped it over the edge for me, i think somewhat in line with the recent power creep the game has experienced

  • @stupnevroman
    @stupnevroman 8 дней назад

    It's funny enough knowing you like to accelerate the gaming process to the point of breaking it completely. But it was complete surprise to me that you actually don't like the fact you are able to get this done.
    Things mentioned in this video are correct and will make game much more reasonable while staying challenging.
    Especially like the ideas of HRE dismantle by CB and culture thing.

  • @ciiicc865
    @ciiicc865 8 дней назад

    these could be an easy patch for eu4 , specially dismanle HRE. That would give an insetive to emperor to have strong electors because they are going to be called into the war

  • @xiii9354
    @xiii9354 9 дней назад +5

    I originally thought that you DO have to be at war with all the electors and control their capitals that way to dismantle the HRE, imagined it would be a rather difficult thing to pull off. Then I realized you can ally them and that makes it a whole lot easier. I'm not that amazing at this game, but I'd still like to see that it does take a huge war like that to dismantle, it just makes a lot more sense

  • @Tryinis
    @Tryinis 10 часов назад +1

    about hordes, as a turk myself i have to say ur wrong actually cuz historicly hordes didnt just raid and core them hordes kill them and make them knee (by them i mean people that they raid) so you either will knee or die. most of the time it was knee and its really means no rebellion. mongols didnt have such as problem cuz they kill all possible rebels. it doesnt mean they had rebels and they killed them, they kill them so there was no rebels. if u want to nerf hordes, after raiding mechanic the provinces have to lose much more dev so it will has a cost

  • @atarothe7456
    @atarothe7456 7 дней назад

    for CCR and province warcost they could maybe diversify the CBs more. have different CBs give radically different modifiers like imperialism does but earlier.
    like if you go for a border conquest you get province cost +200% and war score increase +50%, meaning you don't need to siege the entire country for one province.
    on the other hand, an invasion CB would make province cost -50%, war score increase -25% or something like that, and even maybe give bonuses and maluses to war support or army morale for defenders and offenders.
    an army shouldn't be as efficient on the offensive than on the defensive, and the population is more likely to die for their survival than to die for some looting

    • @atarothe7456

  • @albaniaalban
    @albaniaalban 9 дней назад

    You mention how you would be more likely to play into the endgame if they removed CCR/warscore cost, but is that really true? Would it actually be more challenging, or would it simply become a matter of stacking diplo annexation cost instead? Additionally, the AI would likely be more hampered than the player by the removal of ccr, leading to more stagnant games. I understand where you're coming from, but I'm not sure removing these modifiers would make for a more engaging or fun experience in the endgame.
