So I am trying to balance language learning and school. I learn German, Italian by myself and French at school. It's been pretty amazing! I try to make time for everything before the week starts and I can balance(kinda) everything this way! Also I trust myself and try to do everything if I haven't planned it! Hi Shea! Nice to see a video from you again :) Thanks for sharing your routine. I am sorry to say I've fallen off with my Spanish. Besides studying with Busuu, I joined an online conversation class which met on Saturdays at noon. I did it for 2 months, but working a full time job, I just didn't want an appointment every Saturday. Plus I have a foodie page on IG and that was the time I would usually go to local restaurants. I'm trying to get myself back into Spanish. Maybe I can make IG Reels in Spanish. Those are pretty short, so I should be able to accomplish that with the Spanish I already know!
That’s ok Sue! It’s a lot to balance, and I know how tough it can be trying to stick to things when you’re super busy. Don’t feel bad, I’ve sometimes taken weeks or a month off of really studying and it’s not too hard to get back into it. I would say making reels in Spanish would be great practice! Also try finding music or podcasts you can listen to on walks or commutes or car rides!

Now that I think about t, I’ve barely formally sat down and studied any of my languages in a very long time.... i mean i started taking Japanese italki lessons and I take Spanish at school, Korean is kind of maintained since I am Korean so it’s hard for me to forget much, but other than that, school kind of got the better of me lol. Hoping to start learning more though! I definitely just went through burnout, learning 3 (sometimes even 4) languages everyday for months was probably not a good idea 😳😬 glad to see you’re back Shea :) Edit: ALSO I HAVE THE SAME BLUE NOTEBOOK AS YOU! I got it years ago, and I never used it!

Yeah, I definitely prefer Reverso because it’s a lot more accurate and gives you much more context like example sentences and multiple meanings. I love using Reverso Context to see examples of how words are used in a sentence. That’s really awesome that you’re balancing so many things! I’ve recently started to make time to also eat healthier and this smoothie bowl is so great especially once it starts to get warmer. Enjoy!

Good question! Sometimes I’m able to fill a page no problem and other times I do draw a blank. It happens! But usually I tell myself to write stream of consciousness so just keep writing, keep my hand moving, even if it doesn’t really make sense 😂 there’s no “right” way to journal so don’t pressure yourself

Hi there 👋 I usually go to bed around 11:30 and wake up around 7 or 7:30. It’s ok, some people just don’t enjoy waking up early, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t be productive! ☺️
