The fact I'm still sitting here listening to sleep token reaction videos after a good 8 months since they exploded really says it all. This band is the best out there, there's nothing better, they are musical perfection and deserve all the praise and more.
I know they'll never win an award due to their 'metal roots', but they absolutely deserve a fucking golden medal for this album. Masterpiece.

Actually there’re a couple of bad songs but they overcompensate with absolutely masterpieces

Vessel is just a truly amazing musician. I've person never heard a Sleep Token song I don't like. And I'm pretty positive I've heard everything they've released.
Honestly the whole band is.. II is literally one of the best drummers i've ever heard of.
@Daniel-vu4qu Yes, they're all great musicians. Vessel just writes everything except the drums. And yes II is one of them best drummers around right now in that genre (whatever genre they're considered 🤣) but there are some insanely good drummers out there so I wouldn't say he IS the best, but definitely one of them. If you have checked out his interview on the Drumeo channel you definitely need to, it's technically the first interview someone from Sleep Token has done.
Had them live last week. An incredible performance. Vessels voice is like on cd. Perfekt.

Vessel writes very poetic lyrics and piano 🎹 , melodies and guitar 🎸 melodies and bass-lines him and the drummer 🥁 are incredible when they record albums in the studio

It's like how has no one use these lyrics in a song before, they fit perfectly and makes so much sense. Sleep Token has a monopoly on the them.
Vessel is a very good lyric writer. It's not just the internal and end rhymes, but more importantly the fresh metaphors. They're creative, original, and unexpected. You normally only get those from serious, talented poets, not writers of popular music lyrics. He makes them so relatable with the I/you statements that they're glued to.

The lyrics are able to explain what I feel or have felt when I couldn’t find the words to describe those emotions.
The lines from this song that resonates the most with me and a past relationship of mine is "You gave me nothing whatsoever but a reason to leave. You say you want me but you know I'm not what you need". Stay safe 🤘✌️

That's uhh... that's not the lyrics. They're "acting like you only brought me in to get BELOW ME".. meaning they're addicted to the sex but have no meaningful connection.

The lyric “Sulfur, on your breath” I believe is about dealing with an alcoholic. Heavy alcoholics suffer from lack of stomach acid which causes their breath to smell like rotten eggs, or sulfur.
This song is such a trip if it shuffles while I'm driving at night. ALL the windows are down and the heats up

I’m straight but Vessel’s voice and lyrics. Just wow 🔥
This is by far my favourite song of theirs because of how it's all just a reference to a car crash, both lyrically and musically.
Lyrically there are lots of references to vessel and his partner having an argument while in the car ("I was more than just a body in your passenger seat", "So keep an eye on the road or we will both be here forever") and then being in a big car accident.
And musically, I believe the synth at the beginning is an interpretation of a siren (from an emergency vehicle, such as an ambulance) and it slowly fades away only to come back immediately after the drop of the song, which is an interpretation of the car's tires squealing as she hits the brakes and then the drums being the car flipping over (not sure about that part but it would help explain "Between the second hand smoke and the glass on the street".) Plus I interpret the click/snap sounds throughout the song to be the indicator signal.
Either that or it's using the car crash as a metaphor for a bad relationship where it's going fine until one big event, leaving the car unusable/the relationship over. (Plus if you're in a relationship with someone who is so caught up in arguing with you that they crash the car you're both in, I think it's probably time to leave lmao, "You gave me nothing whatsoever but a reason to leave.") But it's definitely about a car crash, and a lot of people seem to miss that fact.
