Good to see you are back and looks so great!!!! Thank you for taking look on our P75. Hope you enjoy it and all the feedbacks have been noted down! Will do better in the future
I recently reviewed this or an online retailer and it's fantastic! I have almost all the new budget 75s and this one of the best. I got the Wisteria Tactile and I love the feel, sound is phenomenal! No fancy weight that you will never see anyway but I gave it a high recommendation as well, it's one of the few that made it into my rotation. Not that others were bad but was happy you got multiple switch options with very nice caps on this. And yes you can switch it to Mac with a key command, only thing is you don't get any Mac keys with it like you would with a Nuphy Halo75 (which is the other to make it into my rotation with my QK75n). Nice to have the dongle storage as well! I know I said it last video as well but very glad to see new Switch and Click videos again! :) Love the cloud deskmat!
This is what happens with mass production. Thanks to the hard work by the keyboard community, the general public has finally learned to appreciate solid keyboards and companies can now mass produce them. That means prices come down and everything tends to become the same. Happened in phones and it’s happening with keyboards.
I think how the touch of the keyboard is the key to how I pick them in the end. I ended up with two Leopold keyboards just because how I liked and was impressed with the touch the MX blues have on them and realizing I'll be wasting more money on custom keyboards trying to fail on duplicating the unique touch of Leopolds. Yup, I tried looking at and typed with some samples of custom keyboards, but none of them beats those damn prebuilds from Leopold, so I end-gamed myself right on the spot just because how nice a keyboard can feel.
This looks like a banger keyboard for the price! And I saw Epomaker is currently offering a coupon on Amazon for this board making it an even more awesome value! Thanks for the review as always, Betty!
I'd agree, over the last couple of years the hobby has changed. there if far less incentive to 'go custom / group-buy' as the off the shelf items are becoming so good. When you toss in hall effect boards and optical switches which are far more challenging for the bespoke market to adopt... times they are a changing. all the best for the young kid. as with keyboards, one is never enough ;)
Epomaker seems to build really nice keyboards. I got their alice layout keyboard on a deal and was really happy with how it sounded out of the box. I like tactile switches so I put in akko lavender purples. Still sounds great.
The Rainy 75 is the only one I could spot. The little cloud logo is just too cutie. But besides that they all blur together. That being said I am looking at this over the Rainy 75, since Amazon offers free shipping on this Epomaker P75. While the Rainy 75 price increased on Amazon to 140 and off their website they charge 40 dollars to ship the Rainy 75 in the US making the new cost roughly 140 vs this one for $99 with free shipping.
Last night I made a list of what features I would want in my "ultimate keyboard". Then I just happen to watch this video today and I'm shocked that the epomaker p75 ticks just about every box for me. The only missing features I see would be some magnetic feet (maybe not needed) and a little bit bigger battery. I technically already own 4 mech keyboards... I may have to make that 5 after I pick up the p75 🙂 Thanks for the Great video.
You should try the Womier RD75 as it does a few things differently like it has ball catch so no need for any tools to open the case up plus it also has a magnetic connector for the cables inside so no need to even detach them. And a massive 8000mAh battery which is amazing because no need to charge so many times. QMK/VIA support so no need to even install software 😮
Well, the Wobkey, Womier, and Lemokey all support VIA. What makes this more compelling that requires custom software? I understand certain hall effect features may need it, but this doesn't seem to have any special features. I like it has some simple external allen screws to take it apart, but that is also behind the curve since Wobkey, Womier, and other brands are moving to magnetic ball latch (tool less) cases.
Hey I'm new here so HIII :) I was wondering if u could make a video with the best budget iso/best iso layout mechanical keyboards. Feel like there isnt a lot of videos or info about ISO. Really need to find some good Iso keyboard with some nice THOCKYYY sound. Thx for the content :D
Hi, can you recommend a budget ($50-$70) full mechanical keyboard with numpad that is soft and quiet and can be bought in amazon? I'm new to mechanical keyboards.
I can't get it in Australia yet. Some of the alternatives you listed don't have the volume knob, also I use the End key often also and they subbed out the End key for the volume knob, I hate how they all do that. It's really difficult to match some of the requirements I want and end up wanting a $200+ keyboard to try get it all, which I can do, if I can find the right one and it's actually in stock, and avaliable in Australia grrr! I been looking for AGES!
I looove the mat! *karo karo* It is interesting that in most languages (I know) fogs make a sound featuring k, but not in English. Now to the topic of the video. I have been wanting a mechanical keyboard for 3-4 years now, however being a uni student I could not afford it. Now they are cheaper, which is nice, but kinda sad that the building aspect is disappearing.
Was excited about this when I saw the thumb nail only to be disappointed that it has a forced typing angle. Wish we would get more 75% boards that had a zero degree typing angle when the feet aren't being used.
I'm still using my zoom75. I was gonna put the awekeys moonlanding caps on it, but they would look perfect on that gravstar keyboard. Honestly though, I'm excited for the new mammoth75 revision.
Nice keyboard,I always liked Epomaker but found it expensive with the knob. I might be able to afford one now at $136 CAD. Great video and thanks for the information. Oh yes Cero Cero, I hope that is right not good at spelling 🙂
No matter how good these are, and they are i agree because i have a Monsgeek M1 which looks the same as any other 75% but....and here is that BIG BUTT ... my dream keyboard is still and will be the MODE SONNET. The only problem is that it's expensive on it's own, however as i live in EU, we have to pay tax everything coming from outside EU. More spec. 150€ ... so it'd cost me around 520€ with everything and it's not even the most expensive choices ( not including copper ) ... one day i'll able to buy it !
My taobao feed is full of these kind of keyboard, 75%, CNC case, gasket etc, and all under 100usd, but if you ask me they all feel pretty similar, and build quality is very inconsistent, I have some that are excellent, some absolutely awful Is kind of wild how much the costum keyboard has change, i still have my GMMK Pro somewhere, looking back that thing feels so over price in todays market
Hi, Switch and Click, I'm a 13-year-old, and I'm a gamer I have an iloubee i87 could you please do an upgrade video on the keyboard. Also keep up the great work😃👍.
I'm still looking for low-profile switches on a 96% keyboard with german layout... but this one sounds too loud for me. I prefer linear or tactile switches... if possible silent ones. But it feels like low profile is so hard to find.
This p75 really gets u premium features like gasket mounting, a rotary knob, and robust construction for less than a bill?! it's no longer about getting the best deal but finding the one that resonates with your personal style and preferences. In this crowded space, the real challenge-and excitement-lies in discerning what feels right for you amidst a sea of similar choices.
God I don't know what is so difficult about the PCB on the 75s that DON"T HAVE 4 KEYS UNDER THE KNOB! (Pageup/Down/Home) - I know I can do a macro for the END key or rebind in VIA, but come on. It's just ONE LITTLE KEY.
