I grew up in the colony.... The reason why people over look the colony especially back then.. cuz all those gated communities, that really I did not like to see multiply as I grew up, they are kind of hidden back then.... They were behind the regular 21century reality houses that had about maybe 4 or 5 different layouts... Houses like on north colony or south colony... Even east ville( a neighborhood that is behind a really rough part of the colony) has half a million dollar houses... And they I'm sure are older ... I like you and what you talk about about when it comes to the colony I'm sorry but I was hoping to see more of my hometown
Do you know of a restaurant there that changed names/owners several times in the early 2000s, and in 2004ish was called The Rock and Lobster? Is the restaurant still there? Do you know what it's called now? I'm very curious. Thanks. I also was hoping to see "a normal tour" of the town, not real estate.
@@LIVINGINDALLAS I will admit that's where I grew up so their is a bit of bias but just to list a few things. We have great food, Desperados has the best Mexican food I've found and caprissi's has great pizza. Both have been going for 30+ yrs so u know their doing something right. We also have a local bar that has been here since I was born called Bleachers thats a great classic manly sports bar. In more recent yrs we have built many new apartments one of which I live in now just across from the middle school I attended. I also live across from a waterpark and I don't think most other counties can claim that.
