An original 1975 Don Post Captain Kirk mask

- In the first two "Halloween" films, Michael Myers wears a Captain Kirk mask that is spray painted white.
The mask, which was made from a cast of William Shatner's face, was originally used in the 1975 horror film "The Devil's Rain".
You can just tell by how perfect the shape is to this mask that it would look super accurate as a h1 rehaul.
Such a killer mask. Even without the paint its so fucking evil looking.
I’ve seen many great overalls and interpretations over years in trying to perfect the h1 mask .. I have not seen one yet to get it perfect ..but close ... this guy was extremely lucky to get the one true original .apart from the one in the movie itself

Now THIS is an original 78 H1 mask! Anytime I see a company or someone try to recreate it, it’s usually super close but something still seems off. Not with this mask. The shadows in the lighting make the eyes look black. When he “holds the phone” it moves/looks just like the original movie. Wow. If this were painted white/eyes cut out, this would be the closest thing to the OG H1 mask I’ve seen so far. Even without all that, it looks just as creepy.
The cheap TOTS Boogeyman, Elrod, Tramer and Kirk are pretty close.

in my opinion it looks almost as badass as the painted white one.

This video is from the mid 2000s it's not an original. It's simply a Mint 75K by NAG.
So good...the vhs look helps too . I love Myers.. especially the second movie ✌️
Whoa....speaking of William Shatner, he starred in The Devil's Reign and those eyes he had that are pitched black and it was before Halloween was released. That makes one eerie coincidence. The original Captain Kirk mask remains a classic and now become the famous Michael Myers mask for the rest of generations.

Everyone trying to recreate the mask makes the same mistake, they copy the lighting, making him look like a 40 year old dude but as you can see here the Shatner mask has a baby face.
I remember when the original of this video was first on youtube, it was a bit clearer. The plastic container of Coffee Mate was a dead giveaway as to when this video was really made. Latex doesn't last forever.
It wasn't clearer. I ripped it directly from the original video source without any loss and upscaled it to 1080p.
What year would that be? I'm not familiar with Coffee Mate products
@@livewiiiiire It wasn't until after the 2000s when the Coffee Mate containers were changed from a clear brown with white top cap to a tan creamy color with red top. In the video the Coffee Mate creamer container is of 2000+, if this were an original 75 Shatner/Kirk, the latex would have broken down after 25 years anyway. What you're really seeing is a 1999 recast of a Shatner that was sold by Don Post Studios in 99 made from the same mold as the 75.
The footage is not that of a 75 Shatner/Kirk. Most likely (when originally recorded) the person cropped and used a VHS filter to make the video look aged.
@@Scorpwanna It is an original 75 Kirk, this was owned by Josh Warren and has been listed on ebay for 1 million bucks in the past, earning it the infamous nickname the "Million Dollar Kirk" it had started to get dry rot on the front of the neck by then
