Gosh, I just came across this channel and I don’t know if I’m just tired but I laughed at all of his corny jokes and just felt so happy while watching this. Im truly inspired now and joyful, have an amazing life man, i hope you know you just made someone extremely happy ❤❤
watching how you do this is impressive and enjoyable enough but your commentary is so damn funny that it puts it over the top, great job as always. PS made sure I wasn't drinking coffee when I watched this time.
I didn’t expect to laugh so much.! The narration is to die for or in my case wet my knickers!! My belly ached from laughter. I loved every second of the making of this stunning diorama and the secret parts were so clever. I hope the wife won’t miss those washing up sponges!!!Perhaps you should throw the dishes in the blender as any washing up sponge particles will soon get the dishes sparkling. Great diorama but superb explanation of everything. Thanks…
Good as hell, as always! You've inspired me to get more ambitious with a video project I'm working on, and now I have a whole lot of foam and glue and clay and paint and such nonsense laying around...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas . Liked using stones in jar to shape bricks ! And Aluminum foil to create rocks sheets. Good use of hot wire foam cutter too. Appreciate your creative style. Thanks Teacher free grass dried from yard better than store bought !
This looks great! Good work. One great material to make realistic rocks for dioramas is pine tree bark. The bark is layered kinda like slate rocks, which is great look. Also you can use premixed joint compound, so you can save time and mess to not mix your own compound. Premixed compounds are also great that you can store them long time and use it when needed.
I'd recommend placing the darker grass down first, followed by the lighter grass to act as a highlight. It might look better. I'll try it myself next time I use store bought grass to make sure.
Fabulous creative work! 👍 Loved it. 🙏 your tori was spot on. I saw the great O-Torii in MiyaJima of Hiroshima bay. You did a beautiful rendition of it. Details you put in it is simply magnificent! Brought back memories! 🙏
Absolutely brilliant...🤗I had started building a 3D Japanese Zen Garden surrounding a Dojo, in Unreal Engine 5, for my final project for Indie Game Development... Your work is inspirational, and I can't wait to see you next video. ☺Thank you
@@sliceoflifefilm put it in a public google drive folder where u could also put the the files from ur short film with the industrial machines air vents etc
Thanks a lot! We are definitely planning some cool new stuff, but it's still not ready to share with the world! No worries, we're working all the time :D
Look around for the other kind of foam for future products, xps, or extruded polystyrene is usually pink, blue, purple, etc, used for home insulation. this white stuff is hellishly messy and less friendly for arts and crafts. xps is usually pretty cheap as well, but not free like eps (the white stuff) which comes as a packaging material used in shipping. edit, i see you had some for the little rocks and bricks.
@@sliceoflifefilm Had to stop in the middle yesterday, finished today, and this turned out fantastic. And your film making skills are not in doubt, you do a wonderful job. Well, other than relying on white balance. Color Checker passport for the win! Or if nothing else a simple gray card. But I am certain you already know that perfectly well after all you have done so far.
I loved the diorama, as well as the account of the process, with those funny trial-and-error anecdotes. In my small projects I also try new things, the problem is that when they don't work out I become rather irritable and angry, instead of taking things with humor...my friends say I should take a course in ZEN patience or something like that. 😂
My philosophy as I’ve aged gracefully is if it doesn’t work on the 3rd attempt then that’s it. I throw my arms in the air, turning the air blue. I then read my book, which is on my Kindle, I’ve gone off heavy books and I always hated paper back. Plans of mice and men all can go wrong. My mother use to say do not say “I can’t do it, keep trying “ I don’t have to anymore but for old time sake I will try and try and try once more.

Is it possible to get the 3D files for the Japanese Stone Lanterns? I have a penjing that they would be perfect for!

Nice work, Luka! After all that, you need a couple of cold ones. PS my wife would have killed me if I'd stolen her stuff lol

Awesome tip with the blow torch to harden the foam! I'll try not to burn my home down haha. Great vid, looks awesome!
Thanks! Don't breathe the fumes tho :D
Good call, I should have a mask or two laying around somewhere these days, take care.
Dobra robota, wyszło bardzo realnie i szczegółowo
Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it!
Great video! Made me laugh 😆
Excellent work. Will consider next project using shoe, cat, and all those other things.
Yeah!! They certainly help a lot!

yeah, started with the white crappy stuff I had lying at home, but bought good stuff later during the build. No more white foam ever again! 😂😉🤘
