    That was a Lebron performance from Paolo, it was that dominant and unstoppable! Suggs it’s improving as well, future looking bright for Orlando!

      Yup
      He looks like a less explosive version of LeBron with better jumshots 😂

      @@NoMoreTear123I think he’s like LeBron but plays more like a big man. Very LeBron like cause of his size and movement

    I think the main reason Paolo slowed down in the 2nd half is they finally started doubling him. He was on pace for one of the greatest games of all time at half time.

    I can't help but see a lot of bron in him as he's developing more. Very physical, solid playmaker, decent scorer. Mostly just lacks in the explosiveness & vertical area. He's big as hell for the things he's doing. If he develops a respectable 3pt shot over the next few years, again similar to what bron had to do, I could see him being a top 3-5 player in 5 years. Also last time I checked Giannis is 6'11, and Paolo is 6'10, so there isn't a huge size difference. Paolo, although less explosive, has a lot of upside that Giannis struggles with, such as fluidity in shooting from mid to long range.

    You are wrong about paolo just settling for midrange 2s. That’s his skill set. Even if he had the best spacing on the court, he would still use his bag for a pull up 2 just as much as he does now. The midrange 2 is the perfect position to facilitate whether if it’s finding an open man on a cut, cross court pass to an open three if he gets blitzed or if he just wants to hit a fader. It’s honestly a cheat code to have that skill at such a big frame.

    What’s crazy is, I think they got the draft order completely correct too. Paolo, Chet, Jabari. If Paolo had gone 3rd, he would’ve been a steal and a half.

    • @rome8180
      @rome8180 2 дня назад +1

      There's a strong argument that each team in the top three got the player they needed.

  • @dragc1039
    @dragc1039 2 дня назад +2

    I don't know if I remember it the same Tucker. I remember Jabari being projected first because he had the highest floor as well as a high ceiling, but Paolo was the best offensive player and if you had to bet on someone being a future #1 offensive option it would be him which was a pick that made sense for a magic team so early into their rebuild

    • @wildanmalik1819

    I get tired of the Melo comparisons. Paolo's passing and defense are so much better than Melo's already. He's such a more complete player. Merely being tall and taking midrange shots doesn't make you like Melo. Even coming out of college, that comparison made no sense.

    You do know that, as a team, Orlando is shooting almost 40% on an average of 42 3 point attempts per game?

    • @rome8180
      @rome8180 2 дня назад +4

      There's still a lot of reason to be skeptical of their shooting. Just look at the clips in this video. There are five Pacers in the paint at all times. They certainly wouldn't be doing that against the Celtics. It's not about what percentage you're shooting. It's about how opponents guard you. If they're still doing this in January, the defense might start to care. But as of now, I guarantee you smart coaches see it as early season noise. And why wouldn't they? This is essentially the same team last year that finished 22nd in offense and was awful from 3pt range, both in volume and accuracy. What did they change? Adding KCP isn't the fix. His volume isn't high enough. Internal improvement may help some, but it's not a magical cure. I'm sure my comment will get a lot of pushback from Magic homers, but I wonder if you'll come back and admit I'm right when they fail in the playoffs due to their shooting.

    I think Paolo comps to an extra large, small-market Tatum, more than anyone. A really good-to-great all-around player who makes winning plays in the margins, largely undeniable around the rim, both as a scorer and a rebounder, and capable of carrying a ridiculous scoring load when the vibe is right. He's bigger, and stronger, than Tatum - but also considerably slower. He's in Orlando, so there's basically no attention, and no criticism - the only time most fans hears his name is when he does something amazing, but also he has to do something AMAZING to get noticed at all.

    Just the opposite of what I was hearing. Holmgren was considered to be a possible bust because, well you know, skinny white guy. And Jabari Smith was considered to be the surest thing. because of his shot and defensive ability. Everybody was saying that he was a complementary player. Ranchero was supposed to have on ball skills, but was less developed. Jabari was supposed to have the higher floor and Banchero, the higher ceiling.
