My mom met Adam 2 weeks before he died. He and other drivers were at our local grocery store down here in FL, 20 mins from Daytona International Speedway. She said he was the nicest kid she has ever met. He was so happy to make an autograph out to me and was bummed out I was sick and couldn't go up there to see the drivers. He kept telling her you tell him I hope he feels better and I hope the next time I'm here I get to meet him
Dave W I don't think they ever aired practice for any Busch series races until like 2003 or 2004. Maybe speedweeks when ESPN did it in the late 90's-2000.
TNN never aired Practice. The contract wasn’t centralized then. I’ve seen the right side of the car in a clip from Petty Blue of what the car looked like. Something I don’t want to see it. It looks like what the investigation found in it. A stuck throttle. It probably exists unless there’s fan video from campgrounds at Speedway.
If only Adam got to drive in more Cup races... he could've been a Champion with hard work. May he rest easy.

R.I.P. Adam🌺 God bless
Was this the race that Mike Borkowski was fired afterwards and then sued by At&t for damaging their image?
Yes
Didn't Mike drive the #20 AT&T Pontiac here?
The guy doing the prayer called him Adam "Patty"
And also had the first mention of #19 crew chief Christian Lovendahl
16:06-16:10 I Agree With Eli Gold On His Quote! (Go Gators) XD
Tim Boggs even though he's the voice of the Tide
RIP Adam Petty
ROLLLLLLLLL TIDE
At 1:52:00, I'm pretty sure Buddy was talking about this: ruclips.net/video/uzb7nWyjwBU/видео.html at about 1:04:15
What could have been for Adam
Do you have practice for this race too?

@@SMIFFTV there is no footage of it because practice was not aired as much as it is now
