  • Historic docks on the River Clyde are to reopen after more than three decades.
Half a million pounds of investment in Dry Dock number one could see ships return to the site by December. Olly Dickinson has more.

ship building is dead in Scotland and it's high time these people faced up to the reality of it and stopped living in the past, China and other countries and can do it cheaper and faster than we can now. instead of investing in the past they should be investing in the future and modern technology and focusing on the glory days of tomorrow and not the past.

Is this a local vanity project. We all want heritage, jobs etc but where do these boats and ships come from? Are they local? Will we be taking Scottish jobs from other Scottish locations. I want to see this sort of thing work but I do have concerns. Good luck to all involved.
