I just discovered this program! For decades I didn't subscribe to Cable TV, or hardly watch TV at all. I was surprised when I told my now grown daughter and she said "me and cousin used to watch it all the time!" It was cute that she thought it was New! I used to go into my older brother's rooms and read the magazines. I can watch old programs and they are Brand new to me!! Love it!!

He's in every LVGS sketch whereas the host and contestants and the cast members who play them vary other the years and B. He's never in any other sketch (as far as I know). Outside of Madtv, his resume on IMDB is actually really impressive!

The Stewart character is so freakin hilarious!! Noooooo, doooon't. I like his imitation of a kids voice. So amazing! Love it when Stewart always eats his food all at once in one heaping mouth full!! Wow!

Have watched both and enjoyed both but the reality is there is very little difference between the two apart from one is still going and one unfortunately isn't

There were things they did that SNL and no other sketch comedy show would do back then. Especially not one on network TV. Maybe being on FOX had a lot to do with the freedom Mad was allowed though. I was a bit upset when the re-runs were moved to cable, but I also understood why.
They didn't kill the bird. The bird IS REAL - and then there's a cut where they exchange the real bird to a fake one and that's the one he's whipping to the floor.
This show gives me so much nostalgia I want to travel back in time 😂 but seriously I can’t believe entertaining and hilarious but also accurate this show still is damn these were the days before America became sensitive asf because of social media smh
